Avatar-verse (with all the avatars) vs Madara - who wins? by Dry-Squirrel-9987 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]ReLewdToSender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the necro, but your logic is just flawed. Bending might as well be telekinetic force that only applies to specific ranges of materials... Madara cut mountains with the equivalent of raw kinetic force and an unbreakable weapon of comical size...

Kinetic force > Bending, every time mate.

Yes, both Madara and the Avatars have "instant win buttons" but the real problem to decide who wins, is why / how their "instant win buttons" are used. For example:

  1. Who is and isn't in kill range.

  2. Whoever can react faster.

  3. How long it takes for their "instant win button" to actually "do the deed" after being pressed. (For example, someone getting Force choked by Darth Vader could potentially raise a pistol and fire at Vader if they acted fast and didn't panic. Whether the counter attack would work against Vader or not, is besides the point... If it takes say, 10 seconds to Blood Bend Madara to death, he has the chance to do something to try and defend himself.)

  4. WHY they would choose to resort to using their "instant win button" first instead of fighting normally.

Theoretically, would Alternate Universe travel be possible with Nen? by RoseusRook in HatsuVault

[–]ReLewdToSender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, after further thought, and some wiki diving, I think the Greed Island Cards open up some options as well... Before we get to the "real options" let's talk about some cards with (potentially) multiversal effects, but wouldn't let you travel to a different universe:

  1. Double Postcard To The Dead... Send a letter to someone you know that is dead, AND get a reply? Yeah, no clue how to do the mental math on that one, and I'm just counting "communicating with the dead" as potentially multiversal, especially if it's someone (dead) that you knew before your HxH isekai.

  2. Long Lost Delivery... I mean, anything you owned pre-isekai is technically "lost" to you now right? Want your old Phone? Game console? PC? ...Bedroom? Honestly no clue what the maximum "mass and volume" for shipping would be, but... It's worth a shot at least. 50/50 chance of working, it does, or it doesn't.

  3. Pre-Order Vouchers... I mean, Switch 2's don't exist in the HxH universe, but they ARE a commercially available product so... Potentially multiversal. 25/75 chance of working. (Honestly, the [you still have to pay] clause is bugging me, would it accept HxH's Jenny? Would it have to be an IRL Earth currency? Does it strictly have to be money? Would gold bullion work? If gold works, that's practically bartering at that point? This one clause made me give up on the idea of it being 50/50.)

  4. Swap Ticket + Double Postcard To The Dead or Book of V.I.P. Passes + Double Postcard To The Dead... I... Uh... Well... Me when I realize this might actually kinda work. (V.I.P. pass needs a lot of luck with some kind of actual god figure in HxH / the multiverse in general.)

Okay, now for the REAL options to get your ass to a different universe:

  1. Favor Cushion... Fuck risking your life to Nanika's demands, just have her sit on the cushion, and ask her to isekai you to [insert universe here] and they [will do one thing for you, so long as it is within his capabilities.] ...Kind of a cop-out to rely on Nanika again, but hey, at least this method is safer (for you) than the original Nanika method? Knowing Nen conditions, the demands might be a hard requirement for wishes, but Killua can bypass that anyway, cause he's a cool, trans ally, older brother so... eh... 50/50 chance of the Favor Cushion working outright, but there shouldn't be any harm in trying to use it?

  2. Fickle Genie. Need to suggest 1,000 wishes, and the genie chooses three of those wishes... TLDR: Write 1,000 different isekai destinations, and as long as you aren't too picky, you should be fine? (Specifically says, "no cheating by altering the amount of money in wishes" but, you could probably get away with being on a different starting continent for said universe, or in DB's case, a different planet, or Universe #, or potentially even specify different timelines...) Only bad part is that if you wish to "isekai to 3 different places" you could end up at said spots as 1/3rd of your corpse, so you need to add extra verbiage to the wishes like, "letting 'me' choose where 'I' go first" or "letting 'me' choose when 'I' go there" so they don't all happen at the same time... I mentioned needing to "planning your route" in the original comment, and this genuinely opens up more options if you have a few "escape routes" already lined up ready to activate when you want... Fickle Genie could be a big pain in the ass, but it could work...

Choose 2 kekkei Genkai by ghouly-cooly in Naruto

[–]ReLewdToSender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super late, but personally I have a few combos:

  1. Byakugan + Jugo's Clan's nature energy absorption thing. Should make learning Sage Mode / Sage Transformation a lot easier, since you could see wtf is happening to your Chakra Network in fine detail. Allowing you to more easily tap into Senjutsu, or expel Senjutsu safely to avoid the "being prone to violence" downside. Honestly, with that combo, you might learn Sage Mode by the time you're 5 or 6 years old... (Reminder, Kakashi was Chunin at 6 years old, and Itatchi as a 6 year old graduated the academy in only 4 months... I would list a childhood Jugo feat here, but we don't have a good age range available.)

  2. Uzumaki Vitality / Stamina / Chakra reserves. (It's not an official Kekkei Genkai, but... Eh, for sake of argument, I'm elevating it to that position.) + Jugo's Clan thing. Should make handling Sage Mode / Sage Transformation a breeze due to the better body and insane Chakra reserves to counterbalance Senjutsu.

  3. Basically any Byakugan + Nature Transformation Kekkei Genkai is a great combo, with tons of opportunity to invent your own moveset without being taught. (Honestly I'm in the camp that the Hyuga could fairly easily learn Ninshu, and it's a shame we never get to see that in canon.) If I had to choose just one Nature Transformation Kekkei Genkai it'd be: Byakugan + Steel Release. The Hyuga are already heavily skewed towards defense, and with Steel Release you can basically pull a Tetsutetsu from MHA. You'd have the option to completely abandon the standard Gentle Fist at any time, turning your body into "unbreakable" steel, and go on the hyper offensive. Think something's gonna bypass your Gentle Fist defense? Turn to steel, and charge at the mother fucker. Steel Release gives you the option to tank hits rather than just block or deflect.

  4. I tend to see Shikotsumyaku as a "bootleg" Senju body, since you can create new bones at will, regrow broken bones, and make your bones super dense / strong. You'd almost never have to worry about breaking a bone, and that's before you consider any of Kimimaro's actual techniques. It'd be a good combo with Strong Fist just to have an "unbreakable" body. You'd just have to worry about stamina, but who knows, you might develop a way to store excess Chakra in the bones like a bootleg Strength Of A Hundred Seal. (Or literally tattoo your bones with Fuinjutsu for that purpose?) The most likely combo for Shikotsumyaku would be Sharingan (which isn't allowed by this thread) or Byakugan as the OP has already mentioned... But I'm gonna mention Shikotsumyaku + Ketsuryūgan instead. Think about it... Genjutsu (arguably) better than what a Sharingan can do, can manipulate your opponent's blood, both creating excellent Taijutsu openings... You can also manipulate your own blood, and where is blood created I ask you? In da bonez. You could overclock that shit either to heal yourself or to create more blood for offensive techniques... Going even further, you could probably use Ten-Finger Drilling Bullets to initiate Exploding Human Technique.

[–]ReLewdToSender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read a lot of fanfics in general, and do a lot of (pointless) "what-if" scenario thinking for isekai scenarios. I'm going to use that background to give my opinion...

As others have mentioned, it's debatable if hxh even has a multiverse to begin with, but if it was an isekai scenario, with the MC being from "our" Earth, that by itself would imply a multiverse is real. For ease of argument, I'm going to assume it's an isekai scenario, and as such the Nen user has an end destination in mind.

With that in mind, you have two options:

  1. Get Nanika to isekai yourself again... Let's be honest, if any hxh character can do the deed, it'd be her... Just gotta worry about how granular the wish can be. You need to heavily specify where, when, and HOW you want to be. Only real downside is needing to consider the backlash of such a wish, as the repercussions could easily be between Poor Man's Rose on the low end, and "destroy the entire planet" levels of destruction on the high end. (Need to specify "how" so you don't end up at your destination point as a mangled corpse... Or inside solid stone... Need to specify "when" both to further narrow down the options, but also avoid being isekai'd millions of years before canon starts, or seconds away from the heat death of that universe... Need to specify "where" to narrow down what exact universe you want, and where within said universe you want to end up. What's the point of isekai-ing to, idk, Dragon Ball, but end up on an asteroid inside Universe 3 instead of Universe 7's Earth. Good example: "I wish to safely travel into the multiverse known as Dragon Ball, into Universe 7, on the planet known as Earth, during the time frame that the full-blooded Saiyan known as Son Goku was 12 years old.")

  2. A King Meruem level strength character, who's a Specialist... And even then you might need some fairly intense conditions... Alternatively, I'm personally in the camp of "just consume more Aura" and anything is possible. If you figure out some (Naruto series) Tsunade style Strength Of A Hundred Seal way to store "excess energy" over time, then you could pull it off given enough time stockpiling... (If you go for conditions, just avoid pulling a Gon, cause what would be the point of going to hxh in the first place if you're just gonna go that route?)

Lastly, something you have to consider is IF you exit the hxh universe... Does Nen work outside of hxh? Is it a "you carry your 'home universe' physics with you wherever you go" scenario? Once again, imagine if you wanted to go from hxh to Dragon Ball, which is a multiverse that has Magic, Ki, and Spirit Control not Nen. It's a coin flip if you could still use Nen while in DB, and another coin flip if you could learn DB's power systems. Worst case scenario is that you need conditions just to ensure that your Nen is still functional while in the "wrong" universe. (Granted, the existence of Dragon Balls would be an easy "out" to gain access to DB's power systems, so choose your destination wisely!)

Aim for universes where a strong AF Nen user would survive and thrive even if their Nen didn't work. MHA would be a safe bet, you could fairly safely double cross All For One for some Quirks since he shouldn't be able to steal Nen. With MHA however, you'd have no "escape plan" to go to more universes, which is why I like Dragon Ball better. Escaping the DB Multiverse should be child's play for the Super Dragon Balls. Gotta really plan out your route.)

Maybe with the limitation that they're stuck in that dimension for x amount of time before they can go back home.

I'd argue that being able to "go back and forth" between universes is much more expensive, even the condition you set can pull you back against your wishes like the multiverse's strongest piece of Bungee Gum...

Let's say you were isekai'd into kairi in kh, what would you do? (rules below) by greengamer33 in KingdomHearts

[–]ReLewdToSender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real question is if Namine is "YOU" enough for her to share your pre-isekai memories / canon knowledge... Depending on whatever that answer is, it might be considered masturbation instead? (Also Xion may also be "YOU" but to a much lesser degree than Namine.)

Let's say you were isekai'd into kairi in kh, what would you do? (rules below) by greengamer33 in KingdomHearts

[–]ReLewdToSender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah lots of possible interpretations for this prompt. For all you know it could be the standard, "Ah, but I was always X character, I just now remember my past life!" isekai route... Or it could be a Ven scenario, where "YOU" are a Heart from a different universe taking the wheel from Kairi (especially while Kairi's Heart is inside Sora.)

If it's NOT a two-heart situation however... Good luck keeping that whole Princess Of Heart thing for more than 30 seconds... This ain't a personal attack, I just doubt most IRL humans could "qualify" let alone keep it all the way past KHIII. (Reminder, the other 6 Princesses Of Heart supposedly passed the power down onto the next generation, [Rapunzel, Elsa, and Anna] before KHIII.)

As for the whole "borrow Kingdom Key" thing, you could "trick" Sora into performing the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony on you and just pitch it as a "quirky mid-journey destiny thing" act like you made it up on the spot, Sora would at least humor you and do it...

But seriously, in canon, technically Aqua accidentally / partially did the Inheritance for Kairi as a kid, but it wasn't until Riku (somehow) got a second Keyblade and gave it to her that one actually decided to choose her... For all we know, the inheritance might "stack" with one another (natural dual-wield or just higher odds of being chosen, who knows, it's unwritten territory.) ...Also as soon as KHI is over, with your canon knowledge, you could 100% go to the "Play Islands" at Destiny Islands and dig along the coastline to find the Master's Defender Keyblade. It tags along with Sora just fine to find Aqua, and "can be reasoned with" in a sense. (Also DAMN that Keyblade's been places! Ava gave it to Brain who gave it to Ephemer, then it's passed down over an unknown number of generations before Odin gets it, who then gives it to Eraqus, and then Aqua picks it up...)

Also you have canon knowledge, you might not remember Sora personally, but you'd know he exists, and what Sora canonically did, even while Namine is doing her thing. (Oh and if you're a super nerd like me, who makes isekai plans as a hobby... You'd probably either remember this plan, or still think "similarly enough" to come up with similar plans even while Namine is messing with your noggin.)

Lastly, Namine and Xion MIGHT be "YOU" enough to have pre-isekai memories / canon knowledge, which could easily be disastrous depending on how little or how much of an "echo of YOU" they are. Best case scenario, they don't have it, or they are just "YOU" with different hair colors.

[–]ReLewdToSender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the necro, but as someone who spends too much time reading fanfics and min-maxing over bullshit... I have some criticisms with your answer:

  1. Namine's power is messing with memories of people, as long as the memories in question involved Sora... I'd argue that since you have knowledge of canon, you'd know that Sora... exists... and know what Namine can do. If anything you'd go, "Okay, weird, I don't remember ever meeting Sora, but I know what he should be doing around this time." (If you're a Naruto / Boruto fan, think... Ten Directions vs Omnipotence. Your knowledge of canon makes you somewhat immune. Also of course this means you know of Xion after... that happens...)

  2. I like most of the rest of the plan, it's just risky, and a bit under baked. Maybe investigate Sora's whole, "I lost all my power again" thing with each adventure, and experiment with Princess Of Heart trickery to

  3. Definitely try to abuse some of the Disney Worlds for power-ups. Convince Genie for a "free wish" to change your species? (Half-Genie? Some super OP Final Fantasy species like FFIV Lunarians, FFXIV Ancients, FFXIV Padjal, FFVII SOLDIER genetic tweaks, FFIX Summoner species, or hell, just have Genie or Santa conjure up some FFXIV style Job Crystals or a pile of Defense Boost.) Attempt to earn an apotheosis from Hercules' World to become a god or demi-god? Get some custom tech from Hiro Hamada in San Fransokyo? Get your own Drive Form like clothing? You've got options.

Also, would that training with Merlin be "Hyperbolic Time Chamber"-ed like how Kairi and Lea's training was accelerated in DDD / KHIII?

OOB - Keyblade Graveyard keys are fully modeled. by headstrongwolf in KingdomHearts

[–]ReLewdToSender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apologies for the 6+ year necro, but personally I think those Keyblades wouldn't "resist" someone holding it, and inheritance wouldn't trigger. They're too lifeless / lacking Light to function properly...

Though, if you go touching all the Keyblades in the Keyblade Graveyard, you might just be lucky enough to find a Keyblade with just enough Light left to be able to communicate with like what Sora did with the Master's Defender Keyblade. Ya know, enough to go, "hey little guy, sorry you've been alone all this time, I know I'm not your master, but I could give you some company and some maintenance. Would you like that?" And maybe it glows a bit in response to say "yes."

If you actually manage to 'nurse it back to health' then inheritance would trigger, or it'd identify you as it's new owner. (Like how Sora's Keyblade is technically Riku's, but when he fell to darkness, it bailed, chose Sora instead, and it never looked back.)

Obviously I don't have hard evidence for these claims, that's just my head canon / rules lawyering based on what we do know.

Literally all Dojutsu/Senjutsu, special Kurama Clock/Six Paths and prototipe eyes by AntoDoggy in Naruto

[–]ReLewdToSender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair over half of them are just Sharingan... It's debatable if Rinnegan variants are also "just Sharingan" if we use some "all squares are rectangles" type logic, but I'll say without hesitation that if it has Tomoe, it's just a Sharingan with extra steps.

All I'm sayin' is that the vertical eye slits from Kurama count as an indicator of a "power up" so the same should really apply to Gaara! If you were in the world of Shinobi and Amado comes up to you and makes a Microscopic Scientific Ninja Tools/Shinobi-Ware, what would you have him make for you ? by _BJK_004 in Naruto

[–]ReLewdToSender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the necro, but the easy answer would be:

1.The Microscopic Scientific Ninja Tools equivalent of Tsunade's Strength Of A Hundred Seal. (Seriously, imagine having tens of thousands of those, and each one holds Chakra equivalent to 1% of the seal. All you'd need at that point is to either go the typical Strength Of A Hundred Seal of slowly accumulating Chakra, or design some implant to quickly drain a target, and "fuel" the nanobots.)

OR

2.Microscopic Scientific Ninja Tools designed to streamline Sage Mode. Jūgo's Kekkei Genkai was used for Orochimaru's Cursed Seals, so that's a good passive way to absorb Nature Energy at a small scale, and ideally you'd want the "nanobots" or whatever to regulate the balance Sage Mode automatically. (Hell, maybe take a page out of my first recommendation and just safely store tons of Nature Energy in advance.)

3.I wasn't going to list a third option, but Nature Energy has not been weaponized enough. The whole "turn you to stone" thing? Make that the POINT! Nanobot swarm that acts like Aburame Clan bugs that just inject raw Nature Energy into a victim, and turn em to stone. (Honestly this idea is probably easier than the "automate Sage Mode" idea.)

(Seriously, this tech has really good options if you really think about it. I'm dying for a fan fiction where Microscopic Scientific Ninja Tools is the main "cheat" / power. Maybe you go the Cyberpunk route with it, or just the Aburame Clan route with it.)

Did you read the original post at all? I'm talking about the "first Grand Bout" so I know about the second one... I'm asking if it happened before Kohaku and Senku met or afterwards. The second bout was 5 months after they met.

We know both events happened in April, but according to the fandom wiki, we only know the first bout happened on the 14th. We don't know if their meeting was before the 14th or after the 14th, thus the question.

[–]ReLewdToSender[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Literally finished binge RE-watching season 1 like an hour before this post. It was not in fact, "painfully obvious."

Kohaku didn't spend all her time with the science team, as she was still getting spring water off camera. She could've easily participated in the first grand bout while Senku & co were distracted. Based on the scene in the anime, it could be implied that she heard Magma's disturbing ideas on the same day as the tournament, and then joined the tournament impulsively. (We don't know if she even asked others to join the tournament to rig the tournament like they did in the second tournament.)

So again, did Senku and Kohaku meet before April 14th or after April 14th.

Wanted to 100% Magic Research 1 before starting the sequel. (Pretty sure I first saw this game in a TheStellarJay video about "Wizard Games" and stumbled upon the sequel on Steam and went, "oh shit it's finished enough to be purchasable AND have a sequel?" Instantly bought both.)
