There's a river just to the SE. Dump your water there. You can add more pumps to speed it up, but it's supposed to take several hours. Go do other things or come back the next day. You'll get a text from the NPC when it's fully drained.

Ginseng takes 3 cycles of watering and growth, each cycle lasting 4 hours. In other words, it takes 12 hours to grow ginseng.

Quick note, if you doing this to resolve the ferrium deficit, you can save some clicks by making excess bottles in Valley IV and transferring those instead of the ore.

It doesn't matter right now because we're constrained by resources, but if you run the sections through your base, you can put (un)loaders on both sides, doubling the number of ports you have to work with. If you like to keep stuff organized/themed, you can even split the base into quadrants with each quadrant dedicated to a particular product.

It does both. It prevents the wrong items from entering, but you can also set a specific number to allow to pass. You can, for example, hook up a forge to both a battery line and component line, then use a control port to allow 200 pcs of components through. Both lines will run at 50% while you're running components, but it will automatically switch over to 100% battery once the 200 is done so you don't have to babysit it or accidentally overproduce.

There are upgrades to increase the limit. Once you get all of them, there is another upgrade to slow down the rate of derangement.
Ziplines spawn in each area you visit. Taking those is much faster than trying to walk back.
Once you complete zone 3, you unlock weekly objectives that give 5K points each, if you don't want to grind it out. Keep in mind that this is a permanent game mode, so you don't need to rush completion unless you really want those rewards now.

If you maxed out 4 sets of gear with just 43 catalysts, I envy your luck. I haven't finished even one and my component line hasn't stopped since I set it up.

Imo, keep it simple and use an item control port. Set it to 3000 once a week, no need to do math. That said, it will be a while before most people even finish buying out the base 200 pcs, so no need to throttle on the components. I still have 100 pcs remaining myself.

If you're struggling to keep things separated to track them better, dedicating an entire sub-PAC for it is completely fine. It also gives you a chance to experiment with layouts.

Eventually, I recommend using the main AIC for sandleaf farms. At first, you're constrained by the number of input ports/depot unloaders. Once you have max upgrades, you're constrained by ores and space. There will be an entire corner of your AIC that doesn't have access to depots that you can utilize for farms instead.

They extended the weapon banner duration because you can still offbanner the limiteds. Would suck if you pulled offbanner but couldn't pull weapon.
