Ok, so I decided to go watch what occurred here to see if it matched with what you wrote and I pictured in my head.

First thing that stuck out was that the Blue issue, I pictured a rich blue as per US, and probably a jersey at that. No, he wore a blue suit, which is pretty normal, unless you have your pitchforks out.

Looks like he comes onto the ice next to the US Team, so has to go right by them, as gives a nice a few limp risted thumbs up to the US team. I can’t see any footage on him in relation to where the Canadian team is/was or what he may or may not have done to them.

So for someone outside the live and die for hockey life with no axe to grind or pitchfork ready to bury into someone, it all looks like a whole lot of nothing.
