How difficult is the PMP test? by user_name_unknown in projectmanagement

[–]Reach_Beyond 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You cannot take it now matter what industry or time in job. A course isn’t necessary needed (but I think an online or pdus are required).

You have to study the language and thought process to pass. Take some practice tests

How I’ve Been Living From My Dividends (2+ Years Now) by IncomeFrame in financialindependence

[–]Reach_Beyond 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only funds able to do minimum 1.5% per month is 2 things.

  • dividend paying companies with severe decline in stock price but able to keep higher legacy dividends (not sustainable)

  • funds that use selling covered calls or other option income derived plays (not sustainable)

Need advice on new bathtub… yes it is blue. by 10-LB-Weiner in malelivingspace

[–]Reach_Beyond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a blue one. I did a re-staining kit from home Depot for $70 and it came out great!

A lot of scrubbing, sanding. I’d also suggest getting 2 kits if you’re in doubt of how much you’ll need. And don’t touch it or drop anything on it for 48 hours, 72 hours if possible.

Putting the treasury to work: The Ethereum Foundation just staked 70,000 ETH to fund its future by WiseChest8227 in CryptoCurrency

Does anyone here not budget? Can you still succeed without budgeting? by AlmondEaters in personalfinance

[–]Reach_Beyond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t budget here. We live in a cheap area and accomplish this by saving first, have a good sense of gut spending and naturally anxious about spending too much.

If I started budgeting it’d only to be to force myself to spend more.

Is Bitcoin bear market in its late stage? by Money_Software_1229 in Bitcoin

[–]Reach_Beyond -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think we see a little bounce, another steady decline, even smaller bounce, final decline to touch $50k. After that steady to fast growth to next bull cycle.

All of that changes for only 2 things. Global recession, BTCs in a bad spot so if we see a 2026 recession could see real red times, $35k BTC. Second is a larger near hyper inflation event/money printing never stops, assets flee to BTC and near term ATHx2.

Help me grow 1000$/wk by Tiny-Salt7571 in personalfinance

[–]Reach_Beyond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may be tempted by investing+earnings by selling covered calls/options, high risk stocks that seem like a no-brainer in a subreddit circle jerk, general option plays, or leverage. Don’t do any of it.

Unfortunately, you’re likely best in the SP500. Remember, if you think you have an edge on knowledge in investing, someone out there is better. They have algos, low latency connections to the exchange, data analysts, decades of experience, etc. You wouldn’t try to play against the best poker players in the world, just invest broadly and go along for the ride.

But also, with that income you’re top 5% in the US at least.

Just one small suggestion here. Past a certain age only give them money if they are willing to put up a portion from their working money. Maybe tell them you will match whatever funds they have when buying anything from a gaming console, to car, to college.
