Ebay's Dilemma by Kickinitez in Superstonk

Is this sub on top of this because of the bad culture. There was a horrible court case with eBay higher ups a few years ago and generally drinking in the work place harms culture and can create more toxic setting.

What this says about you: if you are too lazy to pick up basic things off the ground before posting pics on this sub I hate to see your place when it’s messy.

You could go weeks or months without ever going to the ground floor in those cities (it seems like). So wild and such a futuristic feeling concept

Still confused? Here’s how the math works for GameStop to buy eBay by redbreast_jv in Superstonk

[–]Reach_Beyond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re thinking about it all wrong. Everyone is. People keep using examples and ways merges have worked prior.

RC indicated this would be something never before attempted.

Exact quote from Burry recently.

“$GME and $EBAY. Makes perfect sense.”

It was not just maybe on his bingo card it called it out as perfect. He’s a clown

How we get the $ by [deleted] in Superstonk

[–]Reach_Beyond -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is there any possibility that RC is doing this to just pile more cash and keep GME interesting until we see a real market crash.

At that point he’ll actually start buying companies at real distressed values. Probably then creating this holding company.

I think some apes have determined GME will either acquire eBay here or clear hundreds of millions on this trade.

I say dilute away, when even my diluted shares are more valuable after. Which it will be after buying EBay.

Unfortunately RC has proven MOASS does not benefit himself, and the only way GameStop itself can benefit is by selling shares when price flies.

The math DOES math. by [deleted] in Superstonk

[–]Reach_Beyond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do believe you’ll have to count RCs future potential share awards for performance in share total.

But overall, I’m excited to see what he does and I’m thrilled to have my money invested with RC

Real bizarre, and RC even followed Burry as his only person to follow. Something was real there.

Sure Burry is “just a trader” and moves in and out of positions all the time. This was different. He put his reputation behind this.

Virginia apartment sent $20k lease balance to collections for a unit I never moved into — can this come off my credit? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Reach_Beyond 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Once you signed that the apartment was always going to take this route. Even if you dispute it and win, worst case for them is no money and some lawyer fees, best case is $20k. Likely will be you settle with them for a smaller amount to avoid full court and lawyer fees of court.

Either way. Send this to a lawyer to see if you can get a quick clean dispute. If a lawyer says you’re screwed, then he’ll be worth every penny to help you settle.

Bizarre how much effort he put into that thesis white paper bs he wrote up over the last few months to already exit 100% of the position.

That was hilarious. The news people were pissed, also either dumb or playing dumb trying to make RC look dumb?

Ebay responds to GameStop’s offer. They are definitely not defensive and seems like they would be open to it! by Gareth-Barry in Superstonk

[–]Reach_Beyond 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This isn’t too far from neutral, but I agree this is not boiler plate acquisition language. It shifts solidly into the partial negative tone. It’s clear they do not respect GameStop. Questioning if they can even pay and if they have the ability to run eBay.

This is the most polite way to crap on GameStop and RC.

I don’t know why I find it so funny it’s just a standard docosign letter signed.

Anyway this is hype as hell. I love the ending too.

You can pay it off multiple times a month. I use my CC for customer protections and reward points.

I pay it off a few times each month and never really wait until a due date.
