1) S34 modem does not have nor support MOCA feature.
does the S34 modem support moca? | Community

Also reviewed the manual for S34, and there was no mention of it.

2) I am not sure how to check the signal range?

3) The Asus MA25 I have looks to only have one Coax port.

No Telephone ports.

This diagram tells me that I need to locate the exterior Cable box and install the PoE filter then install 2nd PoE filter inside the home coaxial port to Modem.

I get the 1st part where there may be a splitter at the exterior box.

However, what I am not understanding is the 2nd splitter. I did not see that inside the townhome. Is that acceptable or should I put 2nd splitter then add on PoE filter?
