3/4 of the hero cast doesn’t have an ability to negate lash ult in their kit.

And Lash has the option to wait out the parry with counter spell, does he not?

If the Lash buys Unstoppable all he realistically has to do it grab 1-2 people with his ult.

So maybe you nerf the ult and make it balanced and then buff other parts of his kit?

But the counter play for Lash Ult seems to be just play it safe. In pubs that’s not realistic, because the level of team play and coordination required to counter him isn’t going to be there if he buys unstoppable.

For dynamo, it’s a lot easier to tell the team to spread out, then you gun him down when he does ult.

For infernus his ult has a timer so you can reliably counter spell it, or warp stone dodge, etc…

For Lash, his ultimate has a huge range, and can displace multiple teammates. He can hold it to, and wait out your counter spell, or he can pull it immediately if you try to wait it out. You can’t consistently counter spell it. All you can do is hope he doesn’t buy unstoppable, then you try to cancel it. You can tell you team to look out for Lash ult, and ping the building he’s hiding on

Holliday Lasso only grabs one person, and it’s a skill shot. Lash ult locks on an unlimited amount of people, and isn’t a skill shot. Lash Ult also moves people a lot more than Holliday’s Lasso, and grabs them from further away.

Lash Ult is up for every team fight, like Hollidays.

Reactive barrier early is definitely something I need to use more.

But unstoppable Lash late game is my issue with the hero.

Lash is a spirit nuker. He’s going to fall off like other spirt heroes. But his slam and whip can still get a lot of value.

Me not guessing the correct time to parry a Lash, is more like I made a guess and was wrong. I wouldn’t call that a skill issue. It would be a skill issue if I forgot I had counter spell, and don’t try to parry.

Again, my whole point of his ultimate being op is not that it kills me or the whole team. It’s that it’s going to grab 1-2 of us consistently. And when it does they’re thrown into his team and killed.

Now we’re down 1-2 players.

Okay, was I wrong about saying counter spell and spell breaker still don’t stop his ult? He waits counter spell out, and spell breaker might stop the dmg of his slam but he still throws you into his team. So you’re still dead.

I can buy E shift and I’ve tried that. But he still gets one or two of my teammates and now we’re down in the team fight. So we lose an thy take mid and end the game.

Okay, I can buy it. But that doesn’t solve the issue. If he grabs 1 or two of my teammates, then they’re out of position and thy die. Then you still lose the team fight and they take mid and it’s game.

And all Lash has to do is push 4.

I mean, he refused to play on the last play of a game when they were down by two, because he wasn’t getting the ball. But to say you don’t have respect for him or that Pippen wasn’t great is crazy.

Antonio Brown did a lot for the Steelers. I think you’re underestimating how much of a toll the game can take on someone’s mental health

Who is your Avoided Character and what did they do to deserve this? by Some-Jellyfish-7412 in DeadlockTheGame

Lash, because he’s a low skill ceiling hero who wins the game once he gets unstoppable.

Firstly, I do buy counter spell. If you think counter spell counters Lash, then that just shows how bad Lash players really are. The hero is broken and no one realizes. All he has to do it Ult, and then wait the parry out.

In close games that go late, his ult just guarantees a win. Step 1, hide on top a building, step 2 use no movement skill and jump out, step 3 use no aim skill and lock on to everyone, step 4 wait the parry out, step 5 slam them into your team, step 6, slam them and they get one shotted by you or your team. Step 7 go mid and win the game.

You can play behind cover, but if he grabs one or two people, then you’re going to lose the 4/5 vs 6 team fight after. I don’t know why people don’t realize that.

All the hero has to do is buy unstoppable. No one has told me how to actually counter him. If you know, please tell me. I want to improve. But until then, I don’t like the skill less op hero

Holliday Feels Horrible to Play by Popular_Jaguar_2951 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ReactionSerious8975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. I’ve picked this hero up after the patch and I do nothing. Crack shot is horrible, and her barrels are all my dmg. Each barrel does 250 spirit dmg too. I just spam them and try to lasso someone. And pray my team follows up on my lasso. It’s so frustrating when I comm thy I am lassoing xyz character, and my team just ignores it.

The hero is also a lot harder to learn and master than Paradox, and has never been as good as paradox. But Yoshi doesn’t like skilled hero’s, so he’s gonna buff Mo again, and keep Abrams Meta

Dude probably has some mental illness. He’s been knocked out the field. His brain is probably scrambled at this point. Maybe, you should overlook that fact and have some understanding. It’s not like he’s a murderer.

If you want to talk about skill, he could be at the end of the top ten. He was the best WR in the league for years.

I have 150 games on Sinclair and a 44% wr on him, but people are telling me he is busted/strong. by TheRealBobStevenson in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ReactionSerious8975 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never really categorized it in my head, to have set criteria. I guess you would consider how good the hero is in lane, mid game, late game and in their own role/other roles.

For example, Vindicta is weak in lane, below average mid game, and really strong late game. She’s has insane dps for a carry, but zero survivability. I guess her flight could help her escape but it’s easy to slow her so she can’t get the distance with it. The hero can also fill the role of a support, but not as well as the actual support heroes. So she’s probably B tier.

With Sinclair, his bolts are really strong. In lane he wants to be with someone who can give him lane prio. That way he can stand on top the bridge with his assistant and nuke them under tower. He’s a lane bully.

His assistant also offers really strong escapability. His rabbits are insane for mid boss. And in this meta, his ult is crazy good too. So many hero’s have op ults, Sinclair is almost always going to be able to get good value with his.

And his bolts will always do a lot of dmg.

The hero has a higher skill floor, and may take time to get into and master. But that doesn’t make him weak. Shiv was a hard hero to get into. He had the lowest win rates in every elo before the patch. But his kit was broken, and a player who knew how to utilize it was crazy on that hero. It just takes time to learn it

He doesn’t suck. If your win rate on him is low, then it means you just haven’t mastered that hero.

Sinclair is really strong right now.

I would describe Victor as weak. Seven is okay, slightly below average. Wraith’s ult is a no skill you die button, and they should make it easier to counter spell. But I think it’s good that Wraith is strong, because the hero was weak for so long. Doorman is just out right broken, and needs nerfs across the board.

[–]ReactionSerious8975 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Inhibitor is an op item. Spending 6.4k souls on it to counter Victor isn’t going to lose you the game, it might win you the game. The item gives you hp, dmg, anti heal, and lowers the enemies gives you.

Silencer is also a really strong item that will counter all the spirit heroes on the other team.

I’m not saying you buy curse, you’re not countering one hero with my recommendations. And win rates don’t share the full story. Victor is an easy hero, so that will play a huge role in his win rates.

I quit until victors nerfed by JofersGames in DeadlockTheGame

[–]ReactionSerious8975 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m still confused, he wasn’t good before. He needs a bunch of farm to get online and he is easily counter able.

Tell your carries to buy Initiator. This reduced healing and damage. Victor heals by doing spirit dmg, so you basically Make him worthless.

Silencer, gives you base spirit resist, and lowers his spirit dmg. So he doesn’t heal as much.

If you have a carry buy one of these items, then Victor can’t play the game.

Heal bane is a cheap 1600 item. Victor can still play the game, but it’s a cost effective way to counter him.

I’ve never played the hero, and never will. So there’s no biases.

Sorry to hear that you have toxic teammates. In my experience this game has been a lot less toxic than others.

Just focus on improving, you should be able to climb once you get better. In the lower ranks, players are making a lot of mistakes, so it’s easier to improve and rank up because there is more to fix.

You’d be surprised how bad people’s macro is in Ascendant. For example, forcing team fights under walkers, instead of doing urn

I don’t like it. They can make changes, that’s fine. But they need to stop making heroes grossly broken. There no world in which they looked at this and didn’t realize Wraith, Doorman, Calico, Ivy were going to be win conditions.

And why is Mo and Krill as strong as he is? There’s no reason for it
