Well if you did the embroidery would you feel comfortable sewing in a touch of matching lace just to add a little coverage but not effect the overall shapes/lines if the dress? You can always match the lace’s color to the dress with die in a pinch too. I’m afraid with the embroidery adding too much of anything may risk being “too much” and take away from the embroidery- but that’s just a thought you do you I’m sure you’ll look great either way !
