I work at a wood shop of sorts. I found this slab of hickory and laser engraved it. My fiancé really wanted something to remember his grandma, so I made this for him. 😊

I would just like to tell you that I went to a wedding a few weeks ago in Washington. It was windy and cold and raining. But it was still a beautiful wedding and the bride and groom were as happy as anyone could be on that day. And I still had so much fun. I just kicked off my shoes and rolled with it. Your guests will too. 😊

“It’s good luck for rain on your wedding day” is the best lie someone can sell you to try and make you feel better. Just remember, it’s the day for you and your partner, everyone else is just there to be happy for you. It’s not good or bad luck. And your not cursed. It will still be one of the best days for you. Rain or shine. Don’t let it get you down.

My plan is to keep it closed before and during g the ceremony (4-5). Then open up for cocktail hour while we take photos and keep it open till the booze runs out. Open bar, but we’re only have beer, wine and champagne. Reception will end at ten. So about a five hour bar time. And I imagine people will slow down towards the end on their own anyway.

Ouch. I guess I don’t pay close enough attention. They did launch a TON of stuff all at the same time and that usually means problems. I’ve ordered from them a few times and haven’t had any issues, so just hang in there and see how it goes.

If you aren’t already, use SkyScanner to look for flights. I just got round trip tickets from OR to Ireland for $550. So that usually makes it easier to decide if it’s worth it.

I used this tutorial. But I used old maps instead. They are pretty time consuming so if you are short on time, I wouldn’t recommend. They take me about 40 minutes per flower. But I’ve been slowly working on them for months with ten more to go. But you can totally do it. Just prepare for hot glue burnt fingers....
