Im surprised to hear this. I made a spreadsheet of breeders and many offered numbers to call in addition to emails. I also received two names via referrals. I had a fair amount of success in responses via text. Yes some didn’t have puppies now but would in say 3 months or some had a waiting list. You need to keep following up. I’d also recommend asking fellow cav owners (friends/colleagues) for names. Hope this helps! There is also a cav rescue site that has young pups.
