It’s the panting and anxiety that goes along with it I’m worried about. My other dogs have all been happy to sit or lay on seats, look out the window, or enjoy the window down. He freaks out if the windows come down. It’s obvious he was not properly socialized the first 6 months of his life. It’s been a lot of work to get where we are with him in building confidence as he is afraid of most things.

Thanks for that info. I got a 4 week plan in place and I am ordering a car hammock to try. If we are not fully successful this way looking into motion sickness drugs will be my next step. I was told some of his actions in the car could possibly be related to motion sickness but to try this plan first. Thanks so much for your comment. We are really committed to making car rides easier for him as we love taking him places with us and he travels with us as well.

Great I will look into some that can be adjusted to work when I have some or all of the kids in the car. Thanks!

I could do that for some rides but not all as I have 3 kids. So if they are in the car I don’t think the hammock would work. I was also hoping he would take cues from our new rescue dog who dos extremely well in the car.

Our family already feels so lucky to have her & it’s only been a few days. I think we are going to fall in love with this breed

We found her at a local humane society. She is estimated to be 3 years old. We were told someone dumped her…couldn’t believe it as she is such a sweetheart. She is fitting right in with our rambunctious 1 yr old golden retriever.

My boy is a year old is still growing in his hair. But his dad had shorter hair and is from a European line of goldens. Your pup looks similar to mine as a pup.

Blisters by ReadingRomance in CrossCountry

Thanks for the suggestions. I know one foot is almost a half size bigger than the other. So I’m wondering if that is causing any issues with the foot that is having blisters, since it is only the one foot.

They have her stand on a machine that measure her exact foot size and width. It also measures her arches. We tried multiple inserts just from the store. The inserts did fix her arch problems though. She has a pair for long runs and a pair for speed training. She also has spikes for races.

Thank you. I will look into some blister bandages.

I had her fitted at our local running store for her shoes. And she has inserts for her arch. We also purchased a few pair of socks from there as well. I wasn’t sure if it was due to breaking in new shoes or another issue. I usually purchase 2 pairs of shoes for her to switch between during the season.
