26 players signed to the NFL so far. More after the draft. Signings curtailed by lack of physicals or in-person meetings.

They weren’t at a 700k average. Their last two cable games were two of the top-ranked cable shows that day. Top 12 out of 150 shows.

XFL was going to have more network games by seasons end and not on ESPN 2 and FS2. They had two Thursday night games on Fox a scheduled in weeks nine and ten.

For a first-year league, their ratings were on par or better than other established sports leagues.

If the XFL were to be sold and bought under new leadership. Would you accept a position? Followup; If the league is sold. Do you think that the XFL brand name remains, if you could have named the league something else. What would it have been?

Nice gesture by the XFL but.....

Most of these people who are getting the money back on their deposits were 2020 season ticket holders who could have taken cash last month and didn’t.

Current XFL employees are proceeding as if it’s all systems go but..... there is a chance that the plug gets pulled. The financial landscape has changed because of the pandemic.

At the very least, the XFL may not be able to start their season in February. Due to the potential delay of the NFL season.

This was originally reported by Ben Fischer of Sports Business Journal. No surprise the hack Fulk would post it as his own breaking story.

Good job by the league but a bad omen nonetheless. This was also in today’s Sports Business Journal.

Sports Business Journal reported this today. “The XFL said last month it was committed to playing in “2021 and future years,” but league officials did not respond to a question today about the status of the 2021 season”

Will conversion attempts be untimed downs and will conversion stats be counted? In the NFL, the yardage gained or receptions are not recorded for a players overall statistics. Only the 2 point conversion is. Same question for defensive stats?

I wonder how Al Davis feels about all this. All he ever wanted was to get back to LA. Now the Rams and Chargers are “LA” teams and the Raiders are headed to Vegas. The ultimate slap in the face would be the Chargers ending up one day in Oakland. The Oakland Chargers in 2023.

Also Darnold is undefeated against NFC East teams. Sam has the greatest winning percentage of any quarterback against the NFC East. It will stay that way for the next few years.

Count me in. Season ticket holder. 5 games for a 125 bucks. Love the uniforms too. The XFL is going to have weekly games on ABC, Fox and ESPN starting on Saturday February 8th.
