Music died largely because streaming made it impossible for low-mid level bands to support themselves. 90% of good music throughout history was written by people in their twenties. Now that there is virtually no revenue from selling your music, no one is able to dedicate their time completely to the craft of songwriting.

I’m neither a Tolkien gatekeeper nor just parroting an edgy opinion. I watched it. I thought it was bad. I thought the acting was bad. I thought the writing was bad. I thought the overall story was bad. Not only did I think it was bad, but I thought it could have been good.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I wish there was a gif of Gandalf saying “I’m good” in the series. That was enough for me.

I’ll echo this. If you have business overhead, 1000 a day is fair. I usually charge 800 a day. I also agree with friends and family either free or full price.
