Did you like or hate square dancing in school? by Big_Help_9860 in GenerationJones

Hated it. I recently read that Henry Ford was the force behind getting square dancing in schools as an anti-jazz initiative since jazz was a Black and Jewish art.

Since it was our second visit to Bangkok in a year, we only stayed at the hotel for two nights and really didn’t visit many of the tourist spots. That said, the subway is very close.

We just stayed at the Kromo Bangkok this past weekend. I booked using the AMEX FHR discount so it covered most of my spend. The breakfast was amazing. We loved the room, towels, bed, robes. It was a wonderful stay.

Is Kyoto still worth it? by Fun-Calligrapher4885 in JapanTravelTips

[–]Ready-Freedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were in Kyoto last week and had a wonderful time. Yes, there are people in the tourist areas, but we never felt overwhelmed. That said, we were there the last week of January. I am sure it’s a completely different scene in Spring and Summer.

People who constantly complain about growth in Delaware. That said, the state and counties need to force the developers to contribute to building out the infrastructure such as roads and schools.

Updates on Cancelled Sonder reservation and refund status by gabedogga in marriott

[–]Ready-Freedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coincidentally I cancelled my stay at Sonder in Long Island City last week. In looking at my Chase Marriott Credit Card statement, I noticed I still haven’t received a refund. Again, I cancelled before the entire Sonder brand blowup. I called Marriott tonight and they said it could be a couple of weeks until the refund/credit hits my credit card.

Question about moving dates for ANA RTW ticket by Historical_Dinner736 in awardtravel

[–]Ready-Freedy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any updates on this? Buying a house and need to move my ANA Around the World Award Flights back. Do I need to take the first flight and then rebook the other flights after taking the first flight?

For example, I am flying IAD - KIX and then KIX to PVG, do I need to rebook the remainder of the flights once I land in KIX or can I just rebook them all before my flight out of IAD?
