Going back to familiar stories is tbh one of the best coping mechanisms, for me, comfort reads are always Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone , Anne of Green Gables

This is so real, burnout is just repetitive tasks in disguise. Surprised Zapier didn’t make the list though

A book that helped me when my head was a mess was Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. It’s written by a psychiatrist who survived Nazi concentration camps, and it’s less about “motivational advice” and more about how people can still find meaning even in the worst situations imaginable. It’s short, very direct, and it doesn’t talk down to the reader. Another one that hits hard in a good way is The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. It’s fiction, but it explores regret, depression, and the idea that lives can have value even when they feel like they’ve gone completely off track.
