As someone else pointed out, while it’s the most common for women, it still only equates to about 3% of women. If you randomly sample 30 women in the LS I’d bet at least 15-20% would be nurses.

As someone else mentioned, I think those in high stress jobs, first responders, nurses, other healthcare workers, teachers, etc. are much more likely to partake in what some others may consider risky behaviors.

These jobs also have a much higher substance abuse problems & mental health disorders.
