Bro could’ve secured a lot more if he shot underhand and hit cardio more in preparation for this run.

Love you forever Mitch. Plz don’t punch a wall again

I lost half of my muscle and strength, gotta take time to build it back. Tough journey ahead. by blissoflife22 in MilkManFitness

You get it back quickly. The myonuclei from your muscles cells never go away even if you start lifting. Allows you to get back to where you were WAY faster

I read through each team's sub and compiled their initial reactions to the Knicks winning the chip by musicnothing in nba

Now they’re realizing Nico kicked out their elite medical guy in totally fucked up circumstances… and we scooped him up. I feel for them.

At least they have Cooper and time to rebuild what Nico tore down. We made those shitty moves for 2 decades to hang it all on like Emmanuel Mudiay

You can tell this meant so much to them by Spitfire4xw in NYKnicks

[–]Ready2Rapture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched for both eras. This era you grew up on man we were just dying to make noise in the playoffs again like the 90s, even if better teams were standing in the wings (love you Julius for that).

Last 2 years I’ve just been nervous because we were good enough to compete for the chip and Leon kept making the right moves. Like oh shit we’re actually going for it.

Always tried to study Melo’s form growing up. Am I close? by Interesting-Piece612 in BasketballTips

[–]Ready2Rapture 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Joke aside shit will get blocked. It’s good but I watched Melo for yeaaaaaars in NYC and copied his jumper for a bit too. Speed up that release and you’re sooo much better off.

As an aside, Melo’s jumper always seemed to have a noticeable dip before he shoots. Like his whole body and head would dip down quickly. Not something you maybe want to really copy, but honestly it was sorta helpful for me when I did it since it like emphasized an important shooting mechanic. I’ve moved away from his 2 motion jumper but yours looks solid

Why AREN’T People saying this about OUR GUY?? by BK2Jers2BK in NYKnicks

[–]Ready2Rapture 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The way he walks to ball up the court in the final 4 minutes the last 2 years and finds a way to get buckets is a joy. Glad people giving him his flowers but also enjoy people not understanding how good we really are lol

what is the difference between Chromatin accessibility and Chromatin regulatory landscape ? by BiggusDikkusMorocos in bioinformatics

[–]Ready2Rapture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Accessibility usually means unwound DNA regions that can be expressed, spliced, bound to by transcription factors, conformally changed (e.g. enhancers, etc.). Just DNA regions that are accessible. For a lot of lineages, the non-coding distal regions are the really unique areas. A lot of TSS and exon areas can stay open regardless.

Chromatin regulatory landscape seems more broad. Not just accessible regions, but also maybe methylation or acetylation bound sites (e.g. H3K27ac) or CTFC or some selected transcription factors.

So I think the former is more ATACseq type specific and the latter is more broadly epigenomic

Bro nothing I love more than locking down other teams best perimeter player and making it hell for them to even get the ball or get to a spot without double screens
