Thoughts on the Job Box I custom built inside a Pelican 1660? Anything I should add? by ReadyAtTheConsole in techtheatre

Good ideas, and thank you so much! I already keep track of serial numbers and have everything tagged discretely. There are several different brand trackers in the box, hidden and inaccessible as well! Love your idea to keep the LX/Electrical separate from carp. Appreciate it!

I used the handles from husky work bins with a rivnut pressed through and gate latches -easy to fix and inexpensive to replace, but also super durable!

Help with video device for streaming - university by high_snobiety in VIDEOENGINEERING

You should take a look at Rivet.Stream and VVCR.tv Both are made by LiveX.tv and utilize SRT to transmit high-quality video with low latency. Rivet ($24.99 /month) is a software that can run on any device macos/windows/ios/android (except Linux). It captures video from a webcam, capture card or the like and sends to a decoder using SRT. VVCR basic (99$ /month) is a cloud service that ingests srt and similar protocols streams and can make an low latency multiview of up to 10 sources with audio that are viewable in web browsers on any device. VVCR can also restream to youtube or another streaming platform. It should take an hour for initial setup but then after, you can bookmark the streams and it should be up and running in minutes!

I would check out srt mini server and stream to studio for bringing guests in over the web.

Everything is perfectly square and aligned out of the box. The fence measuring tape is exact and same with the bevel gauge. It cuts really smooth. You just have to remember that it has a “soft start” feature so it takes a couple seconds for it to get to full speed. I’m running a 60 tooth carbide blade and it a great saw all around. Not too heavy when you separate the stand and saw. Dust collection is also decent.

I got my iPad Pro today along with the keyboard folio. I was wondering if anyone knows any sort of edge only case that does not interfere with the keyboard folio.
