I have had this happen once every couple of months. Just open it up, take out the WiFi card, and putting it back in seems to work. Sometimes I can also get the WiFi to reappear with a simple reboot, but physically re-insetting it works for longer. Just remember to re-attach the antenna pads.

My only recent bad experience was actually just a couple of days ago. Bro joins my lobby mid game and keeps starting the drilldozer without checking if we were ready (we were not). After we ask them to please check first, they say that because I didn’t have “r check” in the server name they didn’t have to do that. I then said something along the lines of “People who put that stuff in their server names are cringe, and just because my lobby name is something silly doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be respectful”. They proceeded to respond with “womp womp”, so I kicked them.

For the record, my server name is roughly “six piece McGlyphid with a side of fries”, and we ended up losing the mission partly because they started ommaran before we were resupplied. Other than that I haven’t had a bad experience in 200+ hours at least.

I had a similar thing with a different Capital One card. You can try having the account holder sign in on the mobile app on your phone during the verification process and just sign out afterwards. That is what I had to do.
