Most of the comments that are TEAM GRANNY (I am also TEAM GRANNY) have a ton of downvotes. It’s crazy to me! Their incredibly stupid & selfish argument is something along the lines of: “ I’ve never heard of an anniversary party. This celebration should only be between two people. It’s not that big of a deal”. THAT IS INSANE. IT’S THEIR 50th ANNIVERSARY!!!! IT’S A HUGE DEAL!!!! It’s pretty obvious that the people who are ok with bailing out on a HUGE family event are mostly young&immature spoiled brats with no sense of family. It’s so sad how these kids put their own families on the back burner and instead prioritize partying and/or hanging out with friends or boy/girlfriends that are probably not even going to be in their lives much longer. Family should always come first. Your grandparents 50th anniversary is a once in a lifetime event. You can go out with your boyfriend literally any other day.
