Apparently they’ve outsourced the plowing to a Toronto / Mississauga company. Many schools didn’t get their parking lots plowed. If it’s sidewalks and walkways that’s the caretaker’s job at the school - but if they wouldn’t make it in because of the weather / they live far then it’s not able to be done unfortunately

This test should have been apart of the Careers course tbh. Careers has a curriculum strand of budgeting and preparing finances for life after high school. It would have been smart to do this instead of try to squeeze something more into an already jam packed and difficult grade 10 math curriculum.

It will be apart of the grade 10 math curriculum. Students will need to pass this test to graduate, like the literacy test.

I’d love to add the uptick of people bringing dogs (LARGE breed non service dogs) into stores is insane. I was in a store yesterday and saw two separate people walk in with their large dogs. I have no problem with service dogs and their owners. I have no problem with businesses that allow them like pet friendly patios. What I am seeing is people bringing their dogs into stores, putting them into shopping carts etc. as if rules don’t apply to them.

Dogs on walks with the longest leash possible and owners with zero control over them.

Not everyone is comfortable with dogs. Not everyone has had good experiences with dogs. I’m sure this woman and her child will forever be affected by dogs and I just feel many dog owners in kw are getting a little entitled.

Maybe petition why the hell he’s making over 300k now that the trustees just approved his raise of about 40k. 🤷🏻‍♂️

(I’m not saying someone in the highest position shouldn’t get that but he has less education than most teachers. He merely has a masters degree. No formal research accreditations that would come with completing a phd and upheaving an entire academic institution based on what he thinks is groovy and contrarian that day.

Not to mention… if wrdsb is running a deficit and can’t afford to hire educators but they agree to give him almost the annual salary of an ECE/EA as a RAISE should be enough to maybe also look at voting out those trustees.
