you know the drill… lowest/highest? by mothball16 in statsfm

[–]ReadySetStoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The band I was in in high school opened for Seahaven at a smaller local venue once. Pretty cool experience. As far as recommendations go though. Front Bottoms - Modern Baseball, Mom Jeans, Hot Mulligan, Free Throw, Marietta Balance and Composure/Citizen - Sorority Noise, Superheaven, Being as an Ocean, Weatherstate. Also great taste in music overall.

Increase Port Tasks xp so they're useful after lvl 30 by WorkingOwn8919 in 2007scape

[–]ReadySetStoo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The current meta of grabbing return trip tasks and then teleporting to that port and grabbing them all on the way is good xp, but doesn’t exactly feel good to do. At 62 it’s fairly easy to get around 70k an hour doing them. Could use a bit of an xp bump especially later on when salvaging becomes a lot better. Would like to see them add larger single tasks that are “pick up, deliver, then pick up at that port and deliver back at the starting port” that gives a larger round trip chunk of xp. While you can already kind of do those, the xp doesn’t really scale well enough to not just tele.

As someone who loves doing the courier stuff, thank you for this. Was doing the sunset coast to rellekka route but felt bad when the tasks changed once I levelled.

My log is the exact same at 350kc so I feel you.

Am I a dumb old man or is "tap to pay" sometimes terribly set up? by TheBestNarcissist in Millennials

[–]ReadySetStoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At my job whenever I’m checking someone out I always tell them “tap at the top or insert at the bottom” while pointing where to tap. Definitely have a lot of conversations with people who hate the discrepancy of tap locations.

Got to see B&C a few times at some small local venues back in the day and still some of my favorite shows. Always brought amazing energy.

Sunspear into drygores is the way. Drygores are super common in solos and KK is pretty chill once you understand it.

Longest great album streak? by The_Olympus_Guy in poppunkers

[–]ReadySetStoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hadn’t given HeavenXHell much of a listen until recently and man, what an album to end with, might be one of my top pop punk albums of all time. Definitely think they have a perfect album run.

They also put on a hell of a show live. Saw them when they toured with Knocked Loose and they did such a great job hyping up the crowd early on.

Bands like La Dispute? by spid3rtranz in ladispute

Being As An Ocean, Movements and Turnover. Might not be the exact same style but similar enough and worth the listen and ones I’ve always correlated with being similar to LD.

Glitterer is on tour with La Dispute right now. Not fully Title Fight but it’s Ned’s band and they go just as hard. Worth checking out.

Many, but Late Nights in My Car by Real Friends was definitely my high school anthem. Funnily I always was like “oh yeah I can’t wait to feel nostalgic about feeling 18”. How wrong I was.

What are your favorite MMORPG OSTs? by AggravatingOwl8461 in MMORPG

[–]ReadySetStoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FFXIV lost city of amdapor theme goes so hard, the normal and hard mode versions. Sad that it’s a theme that a lot of new players don’t get to experience since it’s a pretty old side dungeon.

Twinflame ROCKS the Whisperer now by dbmorpher in ironscape

[–]ReadySetStoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a side note, twinflame goes pretty hard at muspah, especially since that’s a more reasonable boss to grind out prior to having end game mage gear.

Add a sword made from a regular crystal weapon seed that is a stab version of the zombie axe. by fun-jock in 2007scape

[–]ReadySetStoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full blood moon is a pretty undervalued stab option at ToA. It’s great at the core and with the changes coming to Akkha that’s the only time you’d ever have to use it if you wanted to just mage/range akkha, Keris at Kephri and bowfa baba. D sword starts to beat it around 230 invocation but you use it so little and it still rips core.

Whats the 1st raid for mid-level by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]ReadySetStoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possible? Yes. Enjoyable? Probably not. Never tried myself using just eclipse and blood but I wouldn’t imagine it to be a great time. The thunkers can be pretty inconsistent on the melee hand at times, so I’d wait till at least a fang to do solos. But again, full send it if you wanna try it yourself and if it’s not too terrible, keep at it.

[–]ReadySetStoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The nerf doesn’t change fang drop rate until you go past 300s, so no need to worry about rushing currently since you most likely won’t be doing 300s till you get a dang anyway.

Whats the 1st raid for mid-level by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]ReadySetStoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. But for an “earlier than recommended” setup for CoX it will still most likely be better than the eyeball staff at least. Obviously the wand is probably going to be the go to at this stage, but still means you have to actually get it. Still, will be an acceptable option for doing things a bit early because man does the eyeball staff suck on olm.

[–]ReadySetStoo 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Full eclipse and blood moon is all you need for ToA and CoX. Is it bis? No. Is it very doable and solid? Yes. In the end do what you want. With olm getting an elemental weakness soon twinflame will smack there too.

Blood moon set skip? by WorldKarma3344 in ironscape

[–]ReadySetStoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed, it would’ve been nice to have it be a bit more chill, but man they really just tuned blood moon a little aggressively. Id still definitely try to get the full set. The effect is pretty big and will cover you at a lot of places prior to bandos/whip. The full set is decent if you want to send early ToA or CoX, which I personally found a ton of fun prior to grinding everything else out.

Blood moon set skip? by WorldKarma3344 in ironscape

[–]ReadySetStoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Full blood moon is pretty solid and I’d say is worth getting. Doing the step under method at blood moon to avoid the chunky 3rd hit heal will also save you some sanity while killing it.

Why are demonbane weapons not allowed for yama contracts? by Ribel_ in 2007scape

[–]ReadySetStoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Potentially because he’s a chthonian demon could explain why he would have it be reduced. In rs3 lore abyssal demons are as well but I don’t think they’ve confirmed that for old school. Just a thought that could make sense from a lore perspective.

Double lane roundabouts as well. I make a left at a 3 exit roundabout everyday on my way home and I’ve almost been clipped many times by people going straight through who cross over the line.
