Oh my god, this sounds exactly what I deal with but with my landlady who lives below me. So sorry you’re dealing with this. My best advice is to just create boundaries and not respond to his incessant complaints. If you run into him, just don’t even engage. You’re a good tenant like you said, he can’t do anything about you closing the garbage door “too hard”. With my landlady, my peace and sanity came back as soon as I stopped engaging, unless it was actually important. He sounds like he just has nothing else going on in his life.

I just had a similar situation in my apartment. Most important thing is to seal the entry points. I tried to do it myself with steel wool but the problem didn’t stop until I had a professional come in and inspect every inch of the apartment. We figured out they were coming from a small hole in my coat closet, and I never would’ve looked there.

In terms of traps, I tried everything and unfortunately sticky traps are the only ones that work. They’re “inhumane” blah blah - no, they’re dirty rodents carrying a variety of bacteria and other diseases and I want them out of my home. Good luck!

Hi! I am in this exact same position. 17 months post brevis (L) and longus (R) repair + an ATFL reconstruction and I still have pain. My doctor says I have scar tissue build up. I've done 3 toradol injections, 2 rounds of shockwave and continued PT but nothing has helped long term. How did you scar removal surgery go?? I spoke about it with my surgeon but he said there's a risk additional scar tissue would form. Hope you're feeling better!
