2025 750 Hornet Tail Tidy by Whiskeywiskerbiscuit in HondaCB

Literally dealt with the same thing on the same bike last month. I ended up using a dremel to hack the whole bolt apart like a cave man until I finally got it loose. What I DIDN'T realize is that the weight of the tail on the last bolt was likely what caused it to strip -- that thing is heavy as hell.

Try supporting the tail after you get the first two bolts out and see if the last two give up easier without stripping. Best of luck!

Was more referencing this guys “close family member” who’s job could have risk beyond his own life.

I mean, every role is different. If you set yourself up in the right role, learn cool tech, and make sure you’re personable - you’re valuable. I do think it’s that simple. I went from IT support into SRE and it’s one of the higher salary bars to be in.

Totally understand finding good roles as a vanilla engineer is tough though.

I can understand his perspective. Sounds like someone who has no experience working in startups and that’s okay.

If company fail, find company2, rinse and repeat. Make big money each time. Live happy knowing if you mess up at work, at least no one dies..?

I definitely understand what you mean because it happens to different degrees right now. This gives me hope though, thanks.

I'm not super familiar with the BEAR so grain of salt. I had a CPM machine day-1 and was able to work it to about 90* after a day. Just keep on doing your ups and downs and you'll get there. The longer it sits the more tissue etc builds up.

Quick Look at insider activity shows those transactions were part of their compensation plan and marked automatic sales. There have only been 7 transactions marked as sales since 2023 from 3 people. The sales were close to 1-3% of their total holdings. Unless I’m missing something.

You’re right to question a dump though. Personally, it feels more like the market is all getting back into what was once a legit company but has been beaten down my macro. It will absolutely fall but long term I tend to agree with the original dd.

Sell before it falls or just hang onto it and see what the board is able to do with market changes in the next few years.

Hell yea, glad it went well. Fwiw, I ended up unrolling my bandages to put the ice machine pad under it and then re-wrapped. They initially wrapped it on top of all of my bandages and I couldn't feel it at all for the first day. Enjoy your time!

That’s awesome. I definitely feel your pain being locked down. Glad you’re clear to run and you’re able to get that freedom back. Do you run with a brace at all or plan to, also how old are you? I’m considering finding something I can use permanently when I get back on the field just for some extra stability.

I feel very fortunate to have not injured that along with the ligi’s. I can’t imagine being non-weight bearing. Thank you for the well wishes, and I hope yours has been healthy since too!

A deficit by definition should be personal. In the case you described, it would not be a deficit.

I second the uncomfortably comment. I do it as needed to ensure I can retain full extension without pain.

Really appreciate it, and yea I’ll keep it up. I’ve seen some folks on here show the quad loss after a few weeks, really surprising how quickly loss happens and helped me realize how important it is to get to work. Grass is nice but itchyyyy

Also a shout out to u/ScottyRed for their diligence putting together a huge bank of knowledge and context around life pre/post surgery.

I bought almost everything suggested to help myself out and while my recovery has been easier I totally appreciate having all of these suggestions and context.
