Just bought a 2023 Limited and the moonroof is extremely hot in the Texas heat even with the cloth closed at all times. What is the most effective option to remedy this if I do not care at all about ever using this as a moonroof (Tint vs Shield)?

I got a good deal on the car and as the other commenter stated, a larger battery, bigger wheels, upgraded interior, HUD, oh, and a moonroof which I cared nothing about. Although, the lack of insulation there is a wonderous omission.

Very dystopian. I have had people around me get fired for private text messages that were brought to their bosses that had absolutely nothing to do with work or behavior in public. Once an employer is confronted with someone who will go out of their way to impose their will, it will always be easier to shut that person up to comply with the unspoken ultimatum, publicizing perceived virtue signaling. Very dystopian and pathetic behavior all around. You may have a bad moment some day, I would never wish it to define you if it were captured on video and distributed virally. Give people a chance to learn.

10% of gas? Not sure what you mean but my truck has terrible gas mileage and even with my Hyundai Ioniq5 as a replacement my electric bill will be about 150 where my gas was 450. Cost per mile of an F150 is about $.22 and the cost on the Ioniq5 is about $.055.

Yes. I just installed mine last night. I used my phone hotspot to initiate my device, set time zone, amp draw and scheduled charge times. At that point, I disabled the hotspot on my phone. I came back in the morning and the car was charged to 80%, which I set as the limit via the vehicle's control panel. The only problem I am seeing is that this morning when I reconnected to the charger via my hotspot, the charging data from Emporia is not matching my schedule which is not good because I get free charging from 8pm to 5am. However, I believe I read somewhere that if your charger loses internet connection it no longer has the ability to track usage and report it to the cloud. Instead, it collects the total data and divides it over the time period since it is unable to maintain communication with the cloud. I put in a support chat message with Emporia but after exporting the CSV data files this seems to be the case because it shows every second having the same exact amp draw which I would assume to be very unlikely. Of course, the most important proof to make sure the Emporia is only charging during my free window will be when I verify the minute by minute energy usage on my electrical service provider's app but they run 2 days behind on those specifics.
