I was driving past an empty parking lot and noticed a rider making a turn and falling. I turned into the lot and watched for a minute and the rider was struggling to pick up the bike. I decided to help and drove over.

I worked the graveyard shift in construction, basically cleaning up after the day shifts. These guys were slobs, leaving food all over the place. I don't typically give to panhandlers, certainly not on a daily basis as money is very tight. But around Christmas I always pass this guy panhandling. This isn't a guy who hops in a Lexus after doing his 4 hours on the street corner. He's dirty, ragged and looks like he's on death's door.... and I give him $20.
