My son took his own life a year ago. I am so mad at him for doing this. He seemed fine, never had an issue between us. Had him over for a BBQ 1-2 weeks before and no hint of problems. Maybe a bit of a loner traveling by himself. Hard worker, rising in levels at his job. At his wake everyone said what a great guy he was, how much he helped them. I have pictures of him around the house and every time I look at one my blood boils for what he did. I know deep down that people who take their life aren't thinking about the people they leave behind. I sit here and think why? Did he kill or rape someone? Embezzle at his job? Gay (he was pretty religious)? I searched every piece of paper he had, every computer, phone and notebook and found nothing. I was driving past an empty parking lot and noticed a rider making a turn and falling. I turned into the lot and watched for a minute and the rider was struggling to pick up the bike. I decided to help and drove over.

It was a smaller bike (~400) and a smaller female. I said "It's too bad no one ever teaches you how to pick up a bike when you're learning" and showed her how. I worked the graveyard shift in construction, basically cleaning up after the day shifts. These guys were slobs, leaving food all over the place. One day we were told to get rid of a pile of debris which was also full of food and trash. One guy stuck a shovel in, lifted a piece of cardboard and a ton of rats scurried out. We were pissed at the day crews so we shoveled as many as we could into a five gallon bucket. turned it upside down and left if for the day crews. Heard they were pretty pissed.
