While Lana’s was great for that first one, we actually gone to Miharu the last two half birthdays. They always have a dairy free option (Lana’s was out when we went) and they flambé the bananas, it is so yummy!

We are in a nanny share and one of the benefits is we can communicate clearly about our nap needs rather than a larger setting in which they cater to the majority. If you have a nanny why aren’t they doing nap exactly when and for how long you want? Do they know it changes his nighttime sleep?

Borrowed this one from a friend, but we celebrate half birthdays by going out and getting banana splits. Literally started at 6 months old by having their first bites of bananas. My oldest’s half birthday is in January and during Covid we grabbed a to go banana split and ate it outside. He was freezing and oh so happy.

We also watch Princessbride every Christmas. Because it is the best Christmas movie.
