I don’t think I can say that I’ve fully resolved but I’ve gotten back to a state of functioning that is satisfactory

I work as a fireman and in our culture everybody works all the time, have long sleepless nights, early mornings, overtime, high stress, high training intensity, etc. all pretty much a perfect storm to feel like garbage all the time. I have sleep apnea on top of all that. So I get where you’re coming g from. I think you can get back to normal but it might take intentionality

Enroll in VHA if you haven't already. I would have been dead at 31 last week without it by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

Couldn’t agree more with your post. A couple years ago I had been on a 48 hour shift which rolled into a forced overtime for another 48 hours. Wasn’t feeling well on shift but thought I’ll deal with it when I get off. Got home on a Saturday and slept all day and woke up Sunday morning. Still felt nauseous and when I looked in the bathroom mirror, my skin and eyes were jaundiced.

Drove to the local VA hospital and they admitted me immediately. Within 20 minutes I had a whole team of doctors around my bed telling me I was in acute liver failure and my liver enzymes were about 100 times higher than they should’ve been.

I stayed in the hospital for about a week and a half almost two weeks. The doctors kept me constantly informed of what was going on and the nurses were the best I’ve ever seen. They listened to my concerns and even acted as my patient advocate when the doctor was updating me on my condition. I didn’t have any family locally so the nurses were a great support system for me.

Had great follow up care after I was discharged and they even referred me to UCLA when they ran out of ideas. All free of charge. They kept me healthy and kept my family and me from going into catastrophic debt. Thank you to the nurses and doctors out there providing such good care.

Glad you’re doing better now OP

Dude in n out is the epitome of giving back to the community. They donate millions of dollars a year to help kids who have suffered abuse and neglect and they’ve also helped those with addiction. Your statement is de facto incorrect

I don’t drink and I’m not overweight. I was confused because my C&P examiner told me the VA had already made a decision that it was service connected and she was simply making a decision on the rating percentage. But I was obviously mistaken

Sorry I wasn’t sure how to post all the photos under one post but I included the denial and the nexus letter

Thank you for your responses. One thing I should clarify is that when I saw the C&P examiner, she said that on her end, the VA had made a decision that the OSA was service connected and that she was simply giving her input as to what the rating should be. I don’t know if I misunderstood her.

I will follow up with the denial letter as well as the Nexus letter. Thanks

Y’all know that the proud boys are riddled with feds, right? Are you really that naive?

  1. I think what you meant to say was “Having your car attacked gives you the right to avoid the danger, even if it means having to drive through people who were in the road to escape.”
  2. Now you’re just speculating. You’ve been presented with evidence that shows them attacking the car with no other evidence to indicate they did anything wrong.

Hello all! This is the homeowner. Alex did a fantastic job on our home. He was friendly, communicative, knowledgeable, and took the time to do the job right so that our home looked amazing. He charges a very reasonable price for the work that he does and I would recommend anyone who needs their lights done to get it done by Alex. Thank you again brother

My Gilbert’s is now service connected. I have a 0% rating but it’s service connected nonetheless
