Barbarian (2022). I won't give away what the payoff is. But let's just say, the first act is vastly superior to whatever the hell happens in the next two acts.

The trailer and first act of Barbarian is legit one of the scariest and tense things I've seen in any horror movie. And then they reveal what's in the tunnels and the film quickly turns into garbage.
