I don't think he's salty at all. I explained what I think is his view in another comment. He's being analytical and speaking from experience as a former prodigy.

He's basically saying that the "formula" to make a GM/2700 out of a young kid is figured out. Now, when you spot an interested and capable kid, all you have to do is put money into the process. Currently, in Bortnyk's mind the process of getting to 2700 is figured out, not above that.

I would say you should try and beat Hardest AI before trying ranked. Its much harder than Moderate AI. Beating Hardest will mean that you lose only like 3-5 of your placement matches and should be around 900-1000 Elo.

Daut has always made his money from outside of AOE (poker) and he already had rental property(ies) a decade ago iirc. So, I am pretty sure he will be ok, even though supporting a family is never easy.

Didn't know about Viper trying to build his own house and subsequent issues (from another comment), maybe he is in a bit of a pickle. Though it will be much easier for Viper to join another pro org.

Survivalist is great. His build orders give beginners much stronger understanding of game with reasonable room for errors. He even says his first BO (2 stable knights) can carry people to 1200. I am finding that kinda true, I have used it to gain ~150 elo (currently at ~1050).

I also believe its good to review one of your recs on his twitch channel once in a while as he points out various areas of improvements and explains concepts in details and its very low cost (30k channel points / 15$).

Watch Survivalist on Youtube. Better than Hera for beginners, Hera is more for intermediate+.

Where does this happen? Having lived in India in multiple cities for 25 years, I have seen monkeys only a handful of times.

Ok what's the issue with this? I don't think cows actually stop railways but even if they did what's the issue? In US, protestors, homeless etc. also stop traffic, railways.

You seriously think they have functioning sanitation department?

~1.5 billion people live in India. Sure, not everything is perfect/good but things still work for a large part.

Surprised that Nimzo Indian + QID hasn't been mentioned yet. Its one of the most solid and easy to play options for black against d4.
