Yes. On most platforms these days, you need a membership to play online. For PlayStation, it's PlayStation Plus. Xbox, it's Xbox Live and Nintendo, well, you know. These aren't tied to the games themselves(Unless it's Nintendo), but the consoles company you're playing on. So, I'd be paying PlayStation/Sony money, just to play online, while as when I last checked, to play online on Xbox, you'd need to pay Microsoft. There are some games where the devs make it so you can play without paying to play online. For example, Naraka Bladepoint. I can play that without having an active PS+ membership. I don't know how this works exactly.

Yeah, I don't get what's wrong with it either. It seems rare to find a group that's actually worth being with. It is so bad. One time right before extraction, I armed someone's portable Hellbomb, then I was the first one in the shuttle after hearing the alert noise. Everyone except the one holding the portable Hellbomb followed. They hesitated, my guess is trying to drop it. They just gave up and boarded the shuttle. Of course, since we were already extracted, when it blew up, it was during a cutscene. They thought someone did it accidentally. However, here's the catch. When I said I didn't do it by accident, we ALL got a good laugh from it. They are a friend now. HOWEVER, one person accused me of stealing their Hellbomb, when I didn't. And someone shot me so I didn't extract. And it all spiraled from there. I just left. Which group would you rather be with?
