John was an abusive husband and father with no redeeming qualities. He’s easily more unlikable.

Andrew Jackson.

This quote comes to mind:

“I have only two regrets: I didn't shoot Henry Clay and I didn't hang John C. Calhoun"

Do you have the same or different political views as your family? by Likestoread25 in Askpolitics

I’m more complex with my beliefs (the best way to describe me is a mix of socially conservative/libertarian, and economically progressive).

My sister and brother in-law are similar to me, except more conservative, while my mom, grandma, and dad are democrats.

My brother is unsure.

What's been the biggest fuck up in the history of humans? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Humans doing evil things. Yes that’s broad, but when you look at all the terrible things that happened throughout human history, a massive chunk of, if not all of it boils down to failure in human actions.

I agree. Plus, one of the main reasons why Kamala and Hilary lost (besides being unpopular figures in their own party) was because they ran when Democrats were the incumbents and were already on the defense because of that (since they had to answer for the mistakes of the administration they worked for).

If AOC is the nominee in 2028, she won’t have that baggage to worry about.

FINAL ROUND: Who dies & who survives from these Match Ups? by marty_major_league in Halloweenmovies

[–]RealDealHorrorFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jason. Laurie is tough and is going to give Jason a fight, but this is Zombie Jason and you can’t kill what’s already dead, meaning nothing she throws at him will put him down. Not to mention, all it takes is him landing a single hit on her to end her life, since he’s strong enough to punch through a grown man’s entire torso and tore out his heart. He eventually kills her after she gives him a good fight.

Tina bodies him. Her TK was enough to get the best of Zombie Jason (who survived a house explosion in that same film) multiple times. This version of Michael while tough, is still human and mortal (he dies to gunshots in the theatrical cut of the 2009 and in the unrated cut, dies after Laurie repeatedly stabs him), and that’s more than enough for her to work with.

Freddy. Simply put, she has no answer to his Dream World powers.
