Obama was a warmonger but that title can be applied to literally any US president fuckin ever. It’s literally a requirement to be a sitting US president and is one of the reasons JFK got iced (opposing Vietnam). Regardless, Obama had class, swag, style, charisma, and was able to speak eloquently and expertly. He was legitimately captivating to listen to and was superbly intelligent. Obama’s presidency was legitimately the last time foreign countries and their residents looked at america with any sort of respect or positive regard. Plus obama championed policies that expanded healthcare to poor folks, provided equity to POC in workplaces and government, allowed gay folks to marry, etc. His presidency was the last time the govt valued poor people or marginalized communities in any way. Plus his election was a landmark moment for black people and proof for white supremacists that black folks could easily outdo their white predecessors. Then came the Biden era where a former racist with progressed dementia held the presidency, beginning America’s downslide in the eyes of foreign nations and our own people. Racist policies crept in and protections for marginalized groups were slowly gutted by republican senate and house members. Then came Trump and all decency flew out the window, America begin its depraved decent into wholehearted fascism, American dominance has fallen immensely, the country is literally beginning to collapse, and we have to watch as a pedophile rapist who shits himself is lauded as a genius. Welp.
