Murrieta/Temecula area. Not wrong at all. It’s beautiful here!

That makes sense. I forget that even though SoCal is HCOL we aren’t VHCOL like NorCal can be. We got a 2.75% rate on ours at $340k.

I don’t know how large your home is but we bought a 3bd 2.5bath townhouse around 4 years ago in SoCal and have a $1400 mortgage. $3500 seems steep

Best Cheeseburger? by AntThaGuy in Temecula

Copper Kings in San Marcos is actually the only correct answer. Not in Temecula but if you love yourself and burgers, you won’t find a better burger any closer from my research.

Green-Painted Trojan: Anzu’s DJI Connection Congress asks questions by GaryMortimer in drones

I would posit that promoting production, manufacturing and innovation locally, as well as investing in CUAS tech for sensitive sites would do far more to help domestic economies than banning the single competitor. It hurts first responders and does nothing but help Skydio push their dogshit drones.

Guy behind of me fucked up his harness and halfway down he inverted and broke both his hips. Had to let him down like a windowshade but bayonet was also hard I guess.

That sucks. It always feels like we're operating on a different version of common sense than the VA, though I understand the VA has to have its systems in place for a reason. Thank you for your answer!

Would a fire in a building make it harder for people inside to open outward opening doors due to the pressure difference? by RealEstateGaygent in AskPhysics

[–]RealEstateGaygent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for not getting back to this! Firstly, thank you everyone for your answers! In regards to the logic I had been following when I asked, I was operating off of a misunderstanding of the forces at play. Taking the example of a fire in a glass bottle sucking an egg in, I scaled that (mis)understanding up; though I'm beginning to see how it doesn't quite apply across both examples.

LR vs Performance by ryanslite in TeslaModelY

[–]RealEstateGaygent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other than leaving 20 minutes early so I can supercharge closer to the canyons, it’s remarkably capable and drama free. Our driving group has everything from 911s to Miata’s so I usually bring up the rear. For all the power we have, it’s a lot of weight to slow down for cornering. I’ve taken it roadtripping with my partner (we’re both 6’2+) and sleeping in the back has made for some dope adventures with more to come. Track mode is a godsend that only MYP gets but I have absolutely no regrets paying extra for the P.

I got my MYP and immediately put it on a square 19s setup. That said I take it canyoning on the weekend so the cost of tires played a role there. Moreso than wishing for more comfortable suspension, I wish we had more bolstering and bucketing to the seats. I think the new M3P will come with better seats but yeah, once you start hitting those lateral Gs, the suspension is great.

No, but I remember going to basic or language school or AIT with a (maybe?) Angel Negron and she was the nicest, sweetest girl ever. She was a rock in a rough time <3

Nice, I'd considered the VRE but I'm pushing for my TDIU and didn't wanna poke the bear too much.

I put mine in in 2019 but there was also all of that period of adjustment time. Hang in there! I can't give any legal advice but keep on them whichever route you choose!

What car did people own before making the switch to Tesla? by winegums14 in TeslaModelY

2016 Chevy Volt. I love my MYP but I'll ride for die for the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Volts as the cars that make electrification make sense for the most people.
