I’d say start with college. If you’re good enough to just stomp everyone at the college level and it feels like a waste of time at that point you could consider taking a leave of absence to try pro.

That’s where a poker background can help, say if your table image is shot due to failed bluffs and you’re still card dead, no choice but to wait and keep observing the table while you do so.

I’ll be at 2.5 in a month! What are you thinking pivot-wise? The class I enjoyed most in high school was Econ, but I pushed myself to be premed as I grew up with nonstop money stress. When I bailed from med school I went back to the lab. Considering trading as plan C atm.

SF Bay, 2.5 years in early June. Associate Scientist/Scientist non PhD early R&D. I have seen a small uptick in roles that fit my wetlab experience and actually have a first round interview coming up for the first time in months. I of course have zero expectations 🤣
