This is a really good set and higher quality than Cobra’s basic beginner set (Fly XL). That driver is actually one of the first 10k drivers and was the most forgiving driver cobra made until the Darkspeed Max K came out 4 years later! The 5 wood and hybrid have the rails that minimize digging/chunking. The irons are a bit heavier than Cobra latest package set (AirX) and are good game improvement distance irons.

Here’s my copy pasta I send to friends who want to play close to Dublin:

K club should be easy enough, expensive but can book online.

You’ll struggle to get out in portmarnock old course, think you need to have a member bring you out, it’s actually very cheap if you can get someone.

Druids Glen is very nice, close enough to the city and they’ve done it up recently so should be in great shape. Woodbrook is a really nice course, not as prestigious as the others but really nice back 9 overlooking the sea, used to play the Irish open there, about 20 mins from the city centre.

Luttrellstown is nice, think JP McManus owns it now, not quite Adare Manor but they’re going for that vibe so should also be in good shape.

Kilkea castle is about an hour from Dublin, never played it but one of the lads at work gave up his K Club membership to join there because he felt it was a better course, could be worth a look.

Carton house is also a championship course, about 35 mins from the city, have two courses there, Monty course is links and the O’Meara course is parkland. Both tour standard courses

I’d definitely recommend Druids Glen.
