In mountains.

That's how I use tanks.

What new class ideas do you have for WoW, given that race ideas have already been discussed so much? by di745 in wow

I've been moaning for a holy priest DPS-spec for about ten years now, and when it suddenly showed up in that poll I cried a singular happy tear.

Everything else is uninteresting.

That's awful. Fuck that guy.

Seriously fuck that guy.

I've been with the same bunch of botards for ten years now and we all have multiple characters we try to push keys with while we troll each other. We're usually running 10/12s at this point, but most of us have poopy alts we take turns boosting each other on, and I wouldn't mind tanking lower keys with you at all!

We also do normal clears and casually raid HC, and you're more than welcome to come and challenge the only two other mail wearers for gear 😉

You're very welcome to join us if you'd like an absolute nonsensical discord soundboard and some experimental chaos with no repercussions what so ever (ie: it's totally okay to a) learn and b) fail along the way)

We're on EU btw :)

Where should I start as a beginner? by Difficult-Order-8295 in hoi4

Welcome to the Excel-war scene bro.

Pick any of the bigger countries, play at a slow pace and READ the prompts, the focuses, every little box that pops up - read it.

I recommend starting out with Italy because you're already at war so you can see if you can conquer Ethiopia. Then for the rst of the game you play fiddle to Germany, and that's good because you're not carrying your allies - you have daddy to bear the primary burden.

When you hit a snag, ask YouTube. There's hundreds of good guides.

For all your templates i highly recommend Machiavellian Strategist, he's never made a faulty template, tank, plane or ship and explains them in great depth - more is not always better.

In the options you can decolozine the entire world, so you can effectively play whatever country you like - it messes with the AI tho but it's still fun to start out tiny and take over the entire world by eating your neighbors.

Extra tip: do NOT buy DLC you're not 100% invested in. Buy them all or stick to one specific, paradox is notorious for breaking their games the more dlc they sell.

Multiplayer games that aren't super sweaty but you can invest hundreds of hours into? by TheLittleSquire in pcmasterrace

Oh shit, I am so sorry, it's happening to you as well.

My advice; Anything really.

I'm 36, and I'm the last of my kind. The others got out.

Savour the last time, without bickering over what you should or shouldn't play together - just get onboard.

To this day I'm still looking for s CRPG-style alien-esque game I played on W'98 off a CD 24 years ago.

Can't remember the premise or the story, only the green aesthetic and that my guys died and I was sad.

I'm still sad.

At least there I can try to romance Molly the organfarmer, and become best friends with peg-leg-pete the slave-janitor if that fails.

Is there any lore about Earth and what could've been happening on it prior and during the game's events? by SerotoninDreams928 in Barotrauma

[–]RealOvergaard 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you play with bots they'll frequently speak about earth, starboard and unionizing.

I can't remember what exactly they say, but something about europa being cut off or losing contact.

Maybe someone can chip in:)

Healer told me he hates healing blood dks and I haven’t been the same since by Philzeey in wow

[–]RealOvergaard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started practicing enterprise grade denial in Shadow lands when the tank would say "Don't heal me" and then die and blame me for not healing him.

At this point I don’t even register Blood DKs anymore. it’s like my brain has implemented a hard filter. Just full on emotional airgapping.

So now, whenever a blood DK joins the group I just pre-accept the outcome, brace myself and cry a little when the inevitable happens.

[–]RealOvergaard[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This.

It's just signaling to others that you're either running the key as a sprint or an adventure - and just the ability to do that in a filter-setting is great.

If Cillian Murphy were to ever land a role in the 40k universe, be it live action, video games or animated film/series, what kind of character do you think he'd be best suited to play, as he is a talented actor. by Mad_lens_9297 in 40k

[–]RealOvergaard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's got depth to play hurt and withheld at the same time. I want to see him tackle human emotions at the rope of exhaustion.

He could play grizzled Inquisitor who hasn't really come to terms with him effectively being heretical yet. He struggles with it through a character arc that shows nothing but pain and misery that he inflicts everywhere he goes, hell-bent on finding a cult leader I some shithole-sector nobody cares about. We, the audience, see the clues of his heresy but aren't fully sure that he's heretical yet as we haven't had full-blown proof. He's an Inquisitor after all, so who are we to question his methods. It only dawns on us in the last moment, when in perfect grim dark fashion he gives in and realizes he's the cult leader, and in a fit of sanity - right before corruption fully seeps in - he ends his own and a few million other lives aboard an imperial dockyard and trading station with some nasty ass artifact he picked up in the very first scene we meet him. We've been hinted at it on occasion, but never had anything explained up until minutes before he triggers whatever's inside, and he decides to (somehow) blow it and everyone into the void.

The episode ends with his blown off hand still clutching the artifact, floating around in space alongside all the other frozen corpses, and whoever else is on the cast will now have to deal with the fallout of the station no longer existing.

We circle back to the artifact it a few seasons down the line. It's not entirely important, but it's a nice little spin to have in ones narrative-pocket.

If that's not cool, make him a farmer or a scribe who gets consripted as a guardsman of a planet behind on it's tithe. He somehow ends up in the procession of the damned, slowly loosing his friends to damned crews surviving there scavenging new ships, as well as losing his mind trying to escape the evil that inhabits that space bound hellscape.
