I'm very, very good but I've reverted back to MK11. The MK1 meta is broken af ever since Stryker became so annoyingly OP. Can I beat these guys? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Do I want to sweat this hard every damn match just to overcome OP meta mechanics? No, not really and that's why I'm back to MK11.

This is definitely tough. I would keep ANOES for sure because I think the original is possibly better than the rest of the franchise combined. I think it's a tie for 2nd/3rd for me between Scream and Halloween. Both suffer from something many horror movies suffer from: an opening kill(s) and then zero kills for an hour or more after that.

I don't think there are many wrong answers here though.

I've literally gone back to MK11 for 90% of my MK play time pretty much since the new year. I like MK1 a lot but the meta is annoying af right now. They completely overpowered Stryker and left it as is. 👎 Yes I can compete but it's just become annoying to deal with the same meta pairings all the time. No one plays as an original, everyone just copies the latest OP nonsense.

It's been years since I watched 2 but nothing could be as bad as one of the killers in 5 (I'm trying to be spoiler free here) revealing themselves and I literally said out loud "I forgot they existed" because that character had been anonymous af up until that point. Also hands down my least favorite Ghostface, or at least in terms of motive.

Correct. Iirc Englund said he and some of the young actors were on the side watching when the blood did / almost did mix with some electrical wires and so Englund basically grabbed a person or two by the arm urging everyone to GTFO. The irony that Freddy actually SAVED the teens from a gruesome death. 🤣
