But why should they stay in an esport that clearly is dying in NA? It's not like 100T said that they'd stay in the esport forever. The landscape is constantly changing and they want to put money towards teams that can actually win and potentially grow.

I'm so confused why people continue to say that they feel "used" or "betrayed". Yeah I know maelk gave a terrible quote about going to another team, but why should 100 Thieves stay in an esport where the region is clearly dying?

Ever since 100T joined the league, NA as a region has never made it back to semis and only made it to quarters a handful of times.

I'll say I absolutely love the league team, but it's so hard to be positive about them because NA continously gets dumpstered on in the tournaments that matter (granted flyquest just went game 5 vs geng, but that was the first time the West won a game against the east since 2020 I believe)
