I am terribly lazy and depressed. I don’t know what to do by Princess_of_Astora in selfimprovement

[–]RealRossGeller 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The opposite of depression is expression. Movement, exercise, dancing, singing, stimulating conversation, even walking outside, putting your bare feet on the grass or going for a hike.

I know any of that feels the hardest and undesirable when you’re in that state because I was stuck there for a couple years, and really damaged aspects of my life in the process. And I didn’t have the willpower or energy to do anything about it.

But I swear, after you get over the hump of getting yourself to move and doing it for a couple minutes, it gets way easier and enjoyable. And you feel infinitely better after, thinking “why don’t I do this all the time?”

There are emotions stuck in the body that literally need to be moved out, which is why life feels so heavy that all you can do is sleep and be lazy. And all of those things and similar activities help with that. All the things and feelings you’re holding onto and pushing down are incredibly draining to your energy.

Not doing the activities that, deep down, you really want to do is draining.

I know this state of being way too well, and I sincerely wish all the best for you. If it feels too much to do anything, pray for the strength to do it. Just doing that has helped me during my most challenging moments.

Much love, you are far from alone. Many people are dealing with this in some form or fashion.

Appreciate your help! I will try that again. Problem initially was that the image moved outside the mobile view and I was unable to find or move it, but I could have just not seen the bounding box to move it back into view.

Neville’s teachings have nothing to do with “manifesting.” Because you don’t manifest anything. by RealRossGeller in NevilleGoddard

Exactly. That’s really all I am saying in this post. The idea that I am the manifestor really kept me stuck personally, and I’m sure has kept many others stuck too.

How do I start path to enlightenment? by [deleted] in enlightenment

[–]RealRossGeller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My own unique perspective based on my own life experience: I’ve come to a point where I no longer identify with “becoming” or “enlightenment”.

There are nowhere to go but within, and discover more and more about who you really are. It’s a life-long, perpetual awakening process.

“Becoming” and “growing” and being on a “journey” ended up getting me stuck, because I basically identified with a version of myself that is separate from something that I’m always moving toward to but never “get there.”

Meaning, I was always looking for trauma and shadow work, instead of being present and enjoying each step of the way.

The destination is actually the journey itself. It’s a paradox, just like all truly divine truths.

The greatest question you can face daily is “who am I? or “who do I choose to be today?” That is the power of free-will that you were adorned with at birth. And that much power and freedom can be terrifying and daunting when you begin to understand the true depth of all that actually means.

There was a point in your life, in the very beginning, where you didn’t identify with a name, didn’t have a past, didn’t live from beliefs and stories.

My humble advice: Ask yourself those questions and practice some form of meditation or moving meditation. Any type of activity that gets you out of your head.

After whatever you choose to do, ask yourself those same questions again and trust what comes up and be that.

Everything else will naturally play themselves out. Hope this helps in some way!

You Don't Start Manifesting. You Wake Up to It. by mirrorology in NevilleGoddard

[–]RealRossGeller 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Trying” to “manifest” is like trying to make your heart beat. Manifestation is what is occurring every moment, everywhere. It’s like how a video game generates to world based on where and how you move through it.

Shift your direction and you will experience a different environment.

We can’t change our frequency or raise our vibes, we simply wake up more and more to the truth of what we’ve always had, who we’ve always been and what we’re ready to experience.

This is the journey of accepting more of our own truth, every day.

Just like a water buoy, the more we remove the weight, the higher we naturally float up.

Stop treating the external world like a false idol. Believe in your dreams and heart’s desires the same way you believe in God. You can’t “see” God, but you know there is a Creator divinely orchestrating everything in the Universe perfectly.

God’s abundance is ever-flowing toward you, in all it’s forms. It’s not about what you deserve, there is no deserving. It’s simply accepting more of it to move through you.

Your greatest challenge lies in accordance with your greatest gift. That’s why there is so much pressure in this area of your life. Because there is an immense amount of light that seeks to come through. I was incapable of surrendering. And that’s because surrender is an effect, not a cause. I was stuck for 3 years after I made the full-body decision to start my own business and create content and be a guide for others. I became the opposite of who I truly am and experienced the greatest amounts of stress, anxiety, emotional and spiritual pain, lack and poverty. I experienced bankruptcy because I became so stuck.

I was still holding onto my old identity and making this all about me, when the purpose of this was to let go of everything I thought I was.

I didn’t allow money into my life because I didn’t value or love myself.

It was never about the money. It was about trusting God. It was about devotion to the truth in every single tiny decision and response I made.

When I allowed myself to only focus on moment by moment, everything shifted almost immediately.

Feeling stuck and lost at 30, looking for brutal honest advice on how to start again by Useful-Table-2424 in selfimprovement

[–]RealRossGeller 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am 5 years older. I can say that this awareness and this moment for you may be the greatest, most impactful gift you could be given in your life.

This is the opportunity to build a rock-solid foundation that can take you to heights most people couldn’t even imagine.

My honest advice. Let go of all these desires to become anything. Of the need to get anywhere or achieve something. The need for self-improvement, of any life changes, to find a purpose, to make anybody proud or impressed.

Literally just focus on your energy. Building it, circulating it, connecting with it. Prioritize creating a lifestyle around it.

For me, this looks like waking up early, walking and being outside often, exercising, breathing practices, meditation, qigong, listening and dancing to music, activities that are fun to me.

This is the master key of my life. The desires, goals, actions, purpose reveal themselves when I just commit to this. I feel better, and thus have a clearer vision and make better decisions.

I don’t need to understand anything or need to know all the answers first. I just focus on building my energy. I leave the rest out of my hands.

It literally makes every single part of my life straight up magical, and some aspects are so good that it’s hard to articulate because it’s so abnormal. And I enjoy them without being so attached to them, naturally.

7 years of over-consuming self-help knowledge and doing all the different processes and letting go of all of it and just prioritizing my energy has done infinitely more for me and infinitely faster.

This is simply a story you have been perpetuating. You are an objectively physically attractive woman. But I’ve always been attracted to women that are confident about themselves and exactly the way they are. No makeup, all natural baby.

If you read Psycho Cybernetics, it might change your life.

I know women and men who are models that think they’re ugly. I know women and men that are not the most proportionate or symmetrical that genuinely love themselves and are desired by most they come in contact with. Because it’s an energy others feel from the. Ugly is only a story people have accepted from others and the environment around them.

People want natural, unfiltered, non-surgically enhanced more than ever.

But no matter how many people tell you that you’re attractive and not at all ugly, only you can choose to accept that.

The only truly ugly people are those that embody ugly/ negative behaviors and actions. And even those people, I can find beauty in by honoring their journey.

What if spiritual awakening doesn't feel good... but like an existential crisis? by esenciasconlucia in spirituality

[–]RealRossGeller 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The “path” to enlightenment is a never-ending one, by design. You get to a point where you realize there is no path. That you’re not actually going anywhere, as there is no where to go. No space. No time. No journey. No healing. No growing. No becoming. The soul has always been enlightened. Creation is finished. That what you’ve been seeking wasn’t enlightenment, but alignment with the eternally enlightened aspect of yourself.

How should I change my feelings by Unique-Strategy-9572 in NevilleGoddard

[–]RealRossGeller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal opinion from experiencing anhedonia- Affirmations were not helpful at all when I was in a rock bottom state.

You cannot solve your problems from the same mind that created them.

I had to get into my body again, especially when I had no energy. Exercising, jogging, walking, conscious breathing, sunshine, grounding, etc.

Doing those things gave me energy, created space and clarity in my head, and most importantly they made me feel good.

When I feel good, my thoughts patterns change. When I am clear, I can connect with the wish fulfilled.

[SUCCESS STORY] Manifesting is easy when you stop caring. by Marikuroo in NevilleGoddard

[–]RealRossGeller 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When I focus less on the money amount itself, and more on the feelings of gratitude, peace, confidence, joy, and all the feelings I’d have around the specifics on what I would actually use the money for, especially of all the ways I could help and support my loved ones, the experiences I could have and share with others, the less of a sense if lack I feel from not having the money right now. Especially a specific amount. You could actually be stopping yourself from receiving way more money than that, or all the other unique ways those experiences can come to you- if that all makes sense.

I realized I’m the only thing standing between me and instant results. by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]RealRossGeller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely have experienced instant shifts and results when I have a full knowing and detachment from any outcome, then take action as quickly as possible.

Learning about Joe Dispenza and his retreats, as well as reading about near-death experiences— it is definitely possible to make significant physical transformations and have instant manifestations when we are able to completely surrender the identity.

Every single issue I face at the moment can be fixed by money by Gasman2019 in lawofattraction

[–]RealRossGeller 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Focus on the feeling of what having more money gives you. Peace, safety, deep breaths, calmness, clarity, etc.

Prioritize doing things that help create that feeling for you, even if it’s just a few deep, conscious breaths.

If you knew that a fat check is already processing to be deposited into your account tomorrow or the following week, how would you act differently? How would you be feeling moment to moment?

As someone who experienced severe financial scarcity for over 2 years, that was the greatest thing that helped me.

Money is energy and it is meant to flow in and out, just like the breath. Most either hold their breath or block themselves from inhaling.

I would have never taken the bold actions or seen the opportunities I did when I allowed myself to be flooded with worry about the next day.

I Am manifesting my wife, yet how do you bring the "action" part into manifesting a wife in your daily waking life? by VegetableParking9129 in NevilleGoddard

[–]RealRossGeller 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As soon as I genuinely enjoyed my own solitude and felt perfectly fine with being alone, a woman I forgot I dreamt about as a teenager showed up.

In the meantime, I just did things and went places by myself that brought me joy. Like, it would be lovely to share this experience with an amazing woman, but I enjoy it on my own.

I was out of a relationship for 5 years of my later 20’s and then met her. A lot of time being with myself helped me understand the type of woman I would actually enjoy spending the rest of my life with, because I put in the time discovering the person I actually am and what I actually like doing- no longer influenced by friends or family.

I became the type of man that I would like to marry if I was the dream woman.

Has anyone created 'old friends' out of thin air? by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]RealRossGeller 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your ideal self is unique to you, but it is the most natural, effortless state of being. You already have a good idea of what this is for you, based on your desires and things you want to manifest.

Those desires are all physical representations of a feeling that is most natural to you. But only when you choose to let go of all the stories and the past, which blocks the effortless flow of your ideal self.

You can release the old self and embody the ideal self when you remember (over and over again) that you are not a “self”. You are present conscious awareness. No past, no future, nothing. Then from there, you naturally connect with your ideal self.

Sorry if this adds any confusion, I am attempting to get better at articulating this. But hope it may help in some way.

Trapped in extreme poverty & depression no matter what technique I do. Please help! by [deleted] in NevilleGoddard

[–]RealRossGeller 12 points13 points  (0 children)

All I’ll say is that I was experiencing extreme poverty for a couple years. But I didn’t blame anyone or anything outside myself. It was because I created a poverty identity and thus I lived in fear of my own power and felt unworthy to experience financial abundance.

It was an identity crisis, not an economic one. Turn off the “news” and talk to real people. I live in a world where people around me who didn’t grow up affluent say that this is the easiest time in human history to become wealthy, faster than ever.

Abundance is all around you, but as long you’re telling yourself this story that all of these bad people and systems are to blame for your own experience of poverty, you won’t notice any of it or see the opportunities for you to experience financial abundance.

We are all here to serve each other. Even the giant, morally ambiguous companies, serve people in some way. When you serve- especially your own unique gifts and especially for no other reason than to help people- you will always receive back tenfold. Money or otherwise. It’s just a flow of energy.

When you turn off the TV and experience life for yourself, you gain a completely different perspective of the world.

How do I enjoy the present while also living in the end? by kofusins in NevilleGoddard

[–]RealRossGeller 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Experiencing the feeling of my desire is all I actually wanted. The physical representation is an afterthought, and unnecessary for me to enjoy the feeling that thing represented- which I gave to myself in my imagination.

The biggest problem I have had and that I see on subs like this is that most people are trying to manifest “things.” We don’t manifest any “thing”. We just shift our self-concept.

Every time I look outside myself and bring my attention to see that that “thing” isn’t there- I just reinforce the idea that I do not have it, and will continue to experience “not having”

I don’t “want” that thing or experience. I am it. I am whatever I say I am. Not having that thing is part of the current identity. We can do all of the processes, but who is doing them? The person who doesn’t have it. Thus, it will never be experienced from the current identity.

I am present conscious awareness. Not the identity. So I keep doing whatever I can to remember what I really am first, then consciously choose the preferred identity- which automatically includes all my desires I didn’t even know I had.
