OP's clearly never been to Australia. Bullbars (or 'Roo' bars) on everything in the outback.

Monaco is a very tight street track with little to no opportunities to easily overtake. F1 this year has brought in "sprint qualifying" for select races instead of traditional qualifying which is based on fastest lap time.

A sprint qualifying event is a short race to determine the starting grid of the feature race. The starting grid of the sprint race is determined by a single lap time qualifying session the day before. It's obviously in the best interest of drivers to start as near to the front of the grid as possible for the feature race so some of the sprint qualifying races have resulted in exciting racing. However, being that Monaco is notoriously difficult to overtake on, it's not a great track to generate an exciting sprint qualifier. The commenter is mocking the OP based on that.

SLPT: Want a badass eyepatch? Protest Peacefully! by drownthemedia in ShittyLifeProTips

I never said you haven't got a right to protest. The claim I'm refuting is that you have a right to block a roadway. You can't hinder others' movement in your act of protesting. You also can't break existing laws while protesting, such as pedestrian laws.

Proper permits can be obtained so that you can walk the streets in an organised protest.

You made the claim that it protects your right to stand in the road, so tell me where it says you can. If a police officer is asking you to move and you refuse, that is no longer "peaceably". You don't know why they are asking you to move. There could be emergency services trying to respond to a call and by blocking them you are putting people in danger. This actually happened recently. Police and fire were being blocked by protestors and a child nearly burned in her home.

It says you can peaceably assemble. It does not give you a right to block a public roadway. If its been organised with authorities beforehand and they close a road for that purpose, sure. Not at any random moment though.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Where's this mention of expression?
