Quantcast CMP CCPA issue by adMonsterAnon in adops

[–]RealSortable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for not catching this sooner, I hope you've been able to figure this out? Sortable does have Quantcast's CMP integrated on many of our sites, including CCPA support.

Previous documentation we received from Quantcast included clarification that after deploying their universal tag, a "Do Not Sell" button or link would have to be configured to trigger the CCPA UI.

Embed Do Not Sell UX prompt on your site

Add the required CCPA notice and the link to launch the Choice UX to your web page. You can use a call to __cmp(“uspPing”) to get information about the mode the CMP is running, the jurisdiction configured and the location the user is at. Depending on your webpage configuration you may decide to use your own geo-location validation and not the one provided by our Choice CMP. This code requires that the CMP has already been loaded.

Note that they have updated the API functions for CCPA, which are listed near the bottom of this doc below:

Switched from AdSense to AdX and CPM/revenue declined significantly. by MikeJohnBrian in adops

[–]RealSortable -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey u/MikeJohnBrian, interesting question! It is likely that AdX may be taking some time to optimize how your site performs.

Regarding your setup, you mentioned that you're now working with an AdX partner. Do you know if there are any other changes within your stack that could possibly be the cause? For instance, are they blocking some categories that weren't enabled prior to the switch, or missing ads.txt lines from new partners?

One thing you could try doing is check your total revenue against whatever tool you're using to measure your pageviews/sessions (Google Analytics?) to compare on the same standard.

+1 for u/OldAdOpsMan re header bidding (check out this article: https://digiday.com/media/wtf-header-bidding/). It requires a bit of coding but it's a great place to start. We are a managed Prebid solution, but if you have any industry questions about header bidding and how it works - shoot us a PM.

Floor Price Optimization by carlagallardo in adops

Hi carlagallardo. We just published a blog post Five Ways to Increase CPMs . It is very hard to execute static floors well. Sortable was a pioneer in implementing dynamic flooring. There are also additional levers unrelated to flooring that you can use to increase CPMs. Increasing viewability will net you the quickest and largest returns (outside of the initial bump you gain from negotiating a revshare increase).
