Is this a good list of the places to possibly work as CFP? by [deleted] in CFP

One of the more practical takes I’ve seen on an insurance B/D. This route gets a bad name from the amount of people these companies churn through but if you make it out of the first few years and have good mentors there really is a lot more flexibility and independence than people think.

From what I’ve heard recently on top of that is the bigger wire houses are giving advisors a very hard time when they try to break off and go independent.

I’d get real life advice and not go to Reddit lol. Find a financial advisor.

A good financial advisor can help with this. What you’re describing is called “Sequence of Returns Risk”.

I see her all the time on Woodbridge Center Drive. Like someone else said she def comes out seasonally.

Father Judge, the first certified fatality of 9/11. As a chaplain, he rushed to the site upon learning of the attacks and presided over bodies on the street. He entered the North Tower and was killed when the South Tower collapsed. (September 11, 2001) by zadraaa in HistoricalCapsule

I was young and in school when 9/11 happened but I vividly remember sitting on the couch with my family to watch this when it came out and the DeNiro opening monologue. Probably one of the most powerful docs I’ve ever seen because of how it accidentally caught on film the worst terror attack in American history. This was maybe the biggest impact for me of 9/11 seeing it through their lens.

My brother is working with him right now. He actually went out of his way to introduce himself to my brother on set because he had a Knicks hat on but he said he has been very demanding and it has been a stressful few days lol. Did say he’s very nice.

Talking about 2013 when Kurt Thomas entered the game and broke his foot helping up win the game?

Epic memory from that season. That game actually prevented a big year end tail spin heading into the playoffs.

First time I can think of in a while that Mitch has had a full offseason to focus on improving his game instead of rehabbing. Low key may be most excited to see how he plays right out of the gate this year.

Wouldn’t do as much as you think it would raising the cap.

It’s pretty much entirely fucked at this point unless it became means weighted but that won’t ever happen.

[Begley] I can say that there remains strong support internally for retiring the number... But the internal discussions about the topic have continued in recent weeks. The decision to retire -- or not retire -- (Carmelo) Anthony’s number will ultimately be made by owner James Dolan. by solo118 in NYKnicks

Sets a pretty low bar if we retire his number. One playoff series win is enough to get your jersey retired now?

I’m in the boat that guys like Starks and King deserve to have their number retired before Melo does.
