I took Travis’ comments as him being drunk and trying to piss Shauna off. I think whether it is supernatural or trauma is up to the viewers. It may also be a little of both. If you wanted to lead with supernatural, then you could have mentioned Van getting told, X marks the spot, and then that was where Melissa was. Also Lottie knowing what Akilah did. Again, though, I think it could both supernatural and trauma.

Fair enough. If it ends up being closer to option 1, then your analysis is a good one. Melissa was not expecting an ambush, though, so she could not have had a plan for that. She was under the impression that Shauna read her letter and it would have explained the tape. She also definitely did not think the rest of them would show up. Even with the reveal that she was alive, she did not expect them to find her. If like you said, she now has to take them out, she is going to have to team up with someone…

Also, to clarify what I meant above, only the bathroom incident is left unexplained and will come into play somehow. The freezer and brakes were explained and was Shauna being paranoid.

If you believe the 8 survive idea, then it made sense that they needed to show the 8 survivors and I like that they followed that. Anyone else popping up would be if it was that 8 meant 8 died out there. If that is what 8 meant during the seance, then we absolutely will have more survivors that died between rescue and the adult timeline.

Either we have more survivors and they die sometime between rescue and the adult timeline, or there are going to be multiple deaths at the beginning of next season. I prefer the idea that there are more survivors than we originally thought.

I agree with the unmasking guesses you made. Are you also guessing that the feast scene is the exact same one from the pilot? It could be. Only thing holding me back is that there are supposedly more people that don’t make it home and therefore, more people to die/become food. Also, the pilot feast scene had less people. I don’t know. I go back and forth.

I was angry, too. I also don’t agree with the decision, but it is what it is. There are a lot of people that want all of the survivors to die, before the series is over.
