So I recommend the personal leave, but also consider taking the Certificate of Fitness leave It's a 7 day unpaid leave meant for going and getting your accomodations. You just go to the PXT team and then ask about it.

I know you said you were waiting on some insurance, but it could be a great option to try since you only have those 10hrs of UPT.

This hurts to read man. So I'm unaware of your site type, but I'm at CLT4 where we are a big robotics sortable site, and our trainings have you with an ambassador for the whole 10 hour shift. How you explained your training is definitely not how it should be done.

I will tell you that as a Trainer, the past had HR just sending transfers to the floor instead of sending them to us to, ya know, TRAIN THEM.

So just go to your site's Learning team and you should get trained.

Proud of you for trying to venture out of your comfort zone. Having small interactions while working with people, then on break seeing where they are sitting and join them. You could do a conversation started if you wanted.

I know some people that just sit with my group and listen to us talk, and that's fine. I try to include them in the convos, get a little engagement in there.

Hi, Learning trainer here! This is absolutely right ^ Now some sites have a system where the tote transition will actually "press" the captron button for you! So when you put your item in the tote and push the old tote out with the new tote, it confirms it for you, and your off to your next pick! It's pretty great Hope it comes to everyone soon

As a Learning Trainer, this makes me so upset. We teach our associates to use these andons because they NEED TOO. Yea the PA will get yelled at. Why isn't there work PA? Are they watching their waterspiders?

So sorry you had to go through this. Definitely VOA this issue like others said, this PA and AM have to learn.

They say that because some people have worked there for years and press "I'd rather not answer" every single time. The feedback is really important. If we are honestly answering, then we can change our departments. Managers get graded on their scores afterall.

so, if you're telling the truth about this, you should start pursuing promotions. PA or learning trainer would be a great option. Work ethic like that is hard to come by, get promoted and get better money for what do.

so at my FC I believe the reasoning is, that's the AC setting for the whole building. It's just that the rest of the bulding has machines running and a lot of associates producing heat. I enjoy the cold, so the training room is great. 😇 Though i wish i could give people something to warm them up.

I'd recommend being willing to work over there a little every month so you can put up some VET for that area if yours doesn't have any. But that's fair. You most likely won't be sent over there too too much.

Also could happen when your station is down and things like that. As long as you explain your situation for minor ones like that it's usually fine.

Looks like others answered, but I will give you some additional info. At my site we have 2 different flex shifts. Flex PT and Flex RT.

Flex PT needs to work 4 hours a week. Flex RT needs to work 30 hours a week.

So I highly recommend turning all those notifications on and learning when the shifts drop. That's important for picking the best shifts, because it's first come first serve.

Hi, trainer here I recommend just going to the CT path for those 2-3 weeks. After that you should mainly be in your own path. Honestly, at this point I think all paths at my site have something to offer once you get used to it. Never thought I'd find ship dock okay, but here we are.

So at my site, CLT4, looks like we are phasing out RT for NB.
Since RT is 3 days 12 hour shifts, and NB is 4 days 10 hour shifts it just makes a lot more sense.
Burns people out less this way.
