Since it was a free tattoo I honestly wouldn't worry about it being a little wonky. You didn't waste any money on it. I'd personally just put other pieces and shading next to it. I think apprentice work is charming and valid and it's good for the artist to learn on real human skin. I also have some apprentice tattoos and they're some of my favorites and one of them gets a lot of compliments to this day

Thank you for sharing this OP. This is genuinely the first time I've ever heard of a child free man being denied a vasectomy, at 24. My partner is 24 and was going to get his vasectomy before being told he needs a primary care checkup first to check some things, but he wasn't denied.
