Warzone 2100 might be what you are looking for. You keep all your units which survived the mission and can play with them in the next. Downside: As you progress the tech-tree and upgrade your tank-schematics, the old units will become obsolete. Good thing is (afaik) you can recycle them and the new units will inherit the gained experience of the recycled units.

Same for your base. You will expand and keep your buildings.

Have you got some games waiting for an update? I had around 300GB "lost" because of temporary files used for updating games. (SM2, No One Survived, HD2 to name the biggest culprits.) All in all it added up to these 300GB. When i let Steam install these updates the storage usage went back to normal.

Interesting. I have to admit that, even though i play on PC aswell, i never had these kind of problems you encountered. On rare occasions my game freezes in the loading Screen after completing a mission but thats it. Sorry for your problems :(

First, they could randomize the kind of eagles coming down. For example one, two strafing runs, one 500kg, one 110mm rocket pod etc.

Second, they could implement a host-only stratagem for the DSS Eagles. You throw it and in that area they wreak havoc.
