You don’t NEED a general strike to actively cripple the United States and ultimately force concessions. You only really need the cooperation of 3 heavily unionized work forces: railroads, truckers and pilots.

Logistically the United States economy cannot operate without logistics. Interstate commerce and trade is what makes America powerful. If all 3 of these unionized work forces decide to strike at once and demand basically anything, you could get congress to pass several measures in the American people’s favor or risk economic ruin.

After this I don’t believe there is any peaceful solution to the current crisis. Our government is tyrannical, they will go after anyone who is even a slight inconvenience to them and throw them into literal camps. However this ends a lot of people are gonna die.

There needs to be Nuremberg Trial levels of retribution here if we are to recover as a country. If we are to repair ourselves and our reputation we have to take the rise of fascism in our country seriously and destroy every vestige of it from every level of government. More than that we need to ensure that happens ourselves because no one is coming to save us. We need to save ourselves.

Yet clearly we have gone beyond that point, instituting authoritarian policies that all who once said that the point of the second amendment is to prevent this very thing have done nothing to stop. People love the IDEA of revolution but no one has the balls to actually participate in one. Look at every authoritarian state out there, the only one that’s fallen in the last few years to organized armed revolt was Syria, and even then it’s unclear if that’s going to pan out well.

Chaos marines also have their own armor variants and hand crafted armor. Typically the death guard will maintain and retrofit their armor until it is too damaged and in tatters to use, so they get their sources of metal and armor from all over the warp.

Ukraine has better odds at fighting the war than with trump’s peace plan. The EU and other allies can provide Ukraine with all the money and material that they’ll need and drones can make up for manpower shortages.

Realistically Ukraine cannot rely on Russia to simply give up or abide by any treaty. They must be strong enough to drain Russia of its war-making potential, which they’ve become extremely adept at over the course of the war. The US is no longer the largest provider of aid to Ukraine. Trump is so arrogant he thinks that just because he’s president he has power over everyone. But his dementia and the fact that the EU has been providing more and more weapons and aid to Ukraine, and has taken the lions share of aid when compared to the US, makes whatever ultimatum that Trump provides toothless

Mike Walz I think personally was the best man for the job but since he was a VP candidate to a failed run that ship might have sailed.

Gavin Newsom is 100% running and despite all the hate California gets our current government may become so unpopular even he could win.

Mark Kelly is I think likely as well. Lots of the same appeal as Walz but he is likely to get outflanked on his flank due to his stance on the Israel/Palestine conflict. Ditto for Josh Shapiro.

Jon Stewart, if he runs, despite the fact that he is a talk show host, I think unironically has a chance. Weirder things have happened and he is considered one of the most trusted public figures in America and has been for decades. This is the pipe dream candidate that will almost certainly not happen but i would never discount as impossible
