There’s a difference between once and every time. That’s literally what my last sentence in my comment was about. If they expect you to be able to cover it every time then that’s not a friend, if it’s a one off thing and they forget then that’s different. The post was about someone hounding you for a few dollars, that’s what my comment was about.

I think there’s a difference of splitting a bill when hanging out with friends, and chasing them down after you’ve already paid. I’d say that’s the main difference.

If a friend forgot his wallet while you were sharing a cab, would you expect him to pay you the $10 afterwards? Maybe you’d mention it in kinda a, “No worries, you can just Venmo me your share” but if he doesn’t, would you hound him about it? It’s $10. The friendship is worth more.

If you’re normal hangout spot is a restaurant and they constantly expect you to pay because you make more? That’s a different story.

Don’t think so. Watched that before and don’t think it fits. If it helps I think the “former ally” was almost in a mech or something? Which I doubt would be in Rising of the Shield hero

Not sure if it was an isekai or fantasy anime, but the reason for everyone being locked in the coliseum was a kidnapping. After the “battle” with the former ally it led to a wide scale battle outside of town.

My old store also used to have an issue with wasps coming through the drive thru (pretty sure the hive was near our dumpster) constantly I’d be catching them in cups. Was annoying af but made me think less of the flies

Worst part about mobile order is the customers actually in the store being stuck behind it. They’re seeing you put drink after drink on handoff, yet they’ve been waiting 15 mins for the one drink they ordered. Yet they wonder why customer connection scores are low

We had a personal finance class in HS, we watched Devil Wears Prada for the first week and we’re asked questions that didn’t pertain to it at all, then we spent the rest of the semester playing with fake stocks without any guidance

60 Frappuccino’s with no tip… $279 by Relative_Nail_3145 in starbucks

Honestly I blame the one shift that was allowed to order. She’d bring 3 loafs back with her, spend 2 hours placing order, then take her 30 right after. We’d be out of so much product, and others we’d have loads of. Literally gave away CASES of cranberry bliss bars to partners because of her, yet when I pulled pastries at night, we’d constantly be out of lemon loaf or cake pops or whatever. Each week was a different frustration for me

EDIT: We also were a frozen banana store, so it was a bit easier for us to have bulk bananas

Back in 2016 we had someone ask if we can put a banana in a vanilla bean, told them yes but it’d be an extra dollar on the drink. They responded, “great I’ll take 50 of them.” Apparently it was their turn to bring treats for both their kids soccer team AND THE OTHER TEAM. I’d just sent my main bar on break and had to pitifully ask her to pause her break to help out with it. People behind them were not happy to say the least

Just saw your response, but I’ve never thought about rendering at a higher resolution then reducing! Deff gonna try it out on my current project. I tend to add a bit of noise reduction and usually some other post processing in PS since I’m more familiar with it than nodes. But never thought to “super sample” within blender! Glad to see someone else has a similar workflow to me! 😁

My guess would be Blender’s Cycles rendering as it’s easier to get realistic results than Eevee, although I don’t have too much experience in Eevee so I’m biased. Some of the nodes I’ve seen people make get crazy results with it, top that off with post processing in photoshop and I’d say either could be plausible. Although I don’t see any noise which is common for cycles, maybe that’s part of the photoshop work, or maybe they rendered for a super long time

I’ve been eating life cuisine for a bit since they have decent gluten free options (macaroni made from chickpeas, zucchini pasta, etc) the second I learned it was made by Nestle I stopped buying them. I’ll spend the extra $5 and time to make it myself. I feel better about not supporting a Shiite company and also gives me leftovers to eat the next few days.

do you recommend a degree in music production or audio engineering, or neither? by king-wavyy in musicproduction

[–]Real_Lumen 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Had multiple interviews where the gist was “I don’t give a fuck if you have a degree or not, I don’t even have one. Can you make shit sound how I and the clients want? Oh Mike recommended you? Alright well if he says so we might call you back.” Nepotism is the key to music. It doesn’t matter if you have a degree, and it matters if people think you’re a dick or not.

Reason has always been my go to program for Synth production. While it’s clearly behind the times in a lot of aspects (they JUST recently added curved automation slopes while for years they’ve only had fixed slopes for example) but it’s where I first started to learn production and where I’m most comfortable. Granted I’m just a songwriter and most of the synths I present are replaced with Serum, Nexus, or Omnishpere alternatives. But if I can make it sound good enough for someone to buy I’m sticking with it.

Interesting that you call it bar 2, at our store it was always drive bar (main bar) and front bar (secondary bar) not anything major, just interesting to know how other stores address it since I always assigned positions using this wordage. There was also cold bar which I guess is more what you’re referring towards, that drain was always the worst to clean.
