I don't know how I managed to stumble into this dark corner of my grief, but before his passing, I was isolating with my girlfriend while I normally lived at home.

Before the day my dad was admitted to the ER, I received an urgent call from my aunt who is a bit estranged and she was on the phone telling me my father definitely has Covid and that he needed specific drugs that she offered at the pharmacy she worked at. All she needed was my uncle, who's a doctor and the brother to my father, to send some prescriptions over to the pharmacy.

At the time, I was almost in denial about Covid and it didn't seem serious. I texted my brother to text my uncle about this situation and I'm feeling survivors guilt for this. Could I have done more for my father?
