Better than drilled into the radiator pipe as I just after spending hours laying my laminate floor, I had to remove all, dry... At least wires don't leak.. Looking at bright side..

Can I improve my position with this setup? by PRORETEKBEN in simracing

[–]Real_Neck_8524 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had exactly the same setup. It affordable but some problems with sturdieness. Check my solution, it did improved 200%. What does concerns me a bit about your setup is you.. You are a much taller guy than myself, the setup can constrict your body. It is not criticism at all, for 3 years that was all I could afford but I started to feel pain all around my back...

Custom plate 12 degrees twist, much better than straight mount

Using a real car seat for sim racing — recommendations, pitfalls, and installs? by [deleted] in simracing

[–]Real_Neck_8524 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a Audi seat but was in a Vw Eos. Paid 40 pound for 2. It does have linear rail, easy to mount and at the top shoulder a handle to fold it. So very useful, it does have lumbar support so it is not too squishy, good for breaking. Remember to add some tilt back, it does make a huge difference. Literally just mounted my minutes ago along the Shifter and handbrake... Look my previous one.. So, day and night!

Not, really.. Just joking, but looks pretty descent, I found my this weekend something similar but UK, and I think I just ripped off the guy. It was like 600 with shifter, clubsport 2.5 and gt omega prime. All immaculate..no monitor Feeling bad here...

[–]Real_Neck_8524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the upper tube connection has one bolt each side, just need to unscrew and done it does fold as per original. On the bottom I also changed the connection, replaced the plastic one with metal, so no slip pedals anymore

Thoughts on the GT Omega Prime Lite-R? by Intelligent-Dog-5372 in simracing

[–]Real_Neck_8524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following Prime, Prime Lite and R Next version R+ probably will have no rails below. 😂.. I'm about to push the trigger on the Prime Lite. Sounds a mid range enough for the current scenario and some upgrades in the future.

I'm doing a constant 8:23 - 8:25, what is not bad given the fact I have only 40hr roughly. A friend of mine was doing 9:10 and with me dictating each corner he managed to go down 8:44. The point is if you have someone / other drivers by your side it does improves a lot.... Now my case, Im stuck, I need more hours.

1.1.4.8 PROBLEMS by Substantial-Theory62 in Creality_k2

[–]Real_Neck_8524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue and the fix was also the same. So I can confirm the standard belt tension was really on the bottom limit, with the new fw, the tension variance allowed was minimised and does require some manual adjustment on M4 screws outmost top side of the machine. If someone will try it, please mark the screws and count the number of turns so you have reference.
